Im pretty sure she said rawr because she knows he should be more confident in front of a woman.

Simple, she wants him to hit it! Elliot is the up and comming pimp of the DOA world (he's still unattached and all) and she wants in on the ground floor before anyone else gets a chance to get there first, though it seems that he has some intrest in Ayane, which means Hitomi had better do something quick because she already lost one dude to Ayane already.
And yes this is a serious post, that's how it looked like to me in the story.
It seems the only thing Hitomi can win is cabbage.

Not sure if they touch upon this much in DOA5's story, but it was addressed in DOAD that Eliot is very shy around girls. Kinda sucks that the new Team Ninja decided to go that way with his character, considering he seemed to be a caring and heartfelt individual who wouldn't be shy around girls as seen from his DOA4 ending where he was happy to be spending time with Meiling. Heck, even his DOA4 Arcade cutscene with Christie played him up as assertive rather than shy.
Right?!?!?! Shit dude I mean his lines in 4 were pretty bad ass, and though when he talked to Brad Wong, he may have seemed unsure of himself, he was still a confident fighter.

Now in 5, him and Brad are just goof balls, completely. I mean what was that scene with Mila and Tina. "I want some of that action...". What is this, sexual innuendos? Fuck.

Also, she rawred at him... she wants the dick... did someone already say that?

Hm... I disagree. I almost believe Kasumi clone was just a bait sent by Donovan in order to get ninjas into that (hidden fighting) Lab. As official TN doa5 web site stays this lab is intended for collect fighting data (check it here) which is quite similar to DOA film's story (be aware again: don't google "DOA film" and read the plot before if you would like to see it)... In final scene (after credits) Rig stayed that everything happened as planed (so I think Kasumi clone was just a piece in that plan).

DOA5 final boss isn't alfa 152, it is (likely) another thing (a greater alfa...?) which can morph into other figting styles. That morphing is only possible because that data collection and other technologies of M.I.S.T.... (Victor) Donovan asked Rig in same scene if he had gotten "samples" (fighting data) to which he aswered positively staing that results was better than expected. I guess "results was better than expected" because M.I.S.T. got fighting data of all 4 ninjas in a row!!!
And the ninjas already knew Kasumi was safe in hiding.

Whether the ninja knew they were being duped or not isn't the point here (as it wasn't explained). What is clear however is that they knew the clone was... a clone. They wanted to know where this clone came from. Once they found out, they offed her without mercy.

Without mercy.

Especially Hayate.

The Kasumi clone was just a pawn for both the ninjas and Donovan.

I agree, in the edn Kasumi's clone is the character more pitful, she don't seem evil but anyway is treated in the worst way from both the factions.

That's not Elliot.

That's you.

It may seem like Brad Wong and Elliot were goof balls, but with Brad as a travelling pal, Elliot was learning where he wasn't solid in himself, where he wasn't assertive about himself.

I mean see this:

Also, she rawred at him... she wants the dick... did someone already say that?
Did you see Brad faepalm when Elliot couldn't handle her energy?

From where I'm sitting, Elliot was fronting in from of Christie in DOA4 because his insecurities are extreme at the time, being the only apprentice of the Iron Fist at the time.

In DOA5, he lost, but this time, he he was more proud of what he accomplished by and recognised about himself. And it showed in his final fight against Brad.

That IMO, is why Gen Fu decided to teach him Xinye Liuhe - Elliot grew the fuck up.

Be that as it may... I don't see why you're taking this tone with me ("That's not Eliot. That's you.") You can't sit there and deny that TN didn't take a direction to make them "look" like goof balls, their skills in fighting have nothing to do with it. Look at Zack. They're all a bit of comic relief yet Eliot stands as one of the most solid characters in the game, with Brad and Zack having good placement as well.

I mean see this:
Why are you taking that quote so seriously? It was obviously a joke.

Did you see Brad faepalm when Elliot couldn't handle her energy?

Yea that's the whole point of his story. I don't see what you're trying to make me understand. You can be a goof and a successful fighter. If you go back to DOA4, his Japanese voice actor, and facial expressions make him sound depressed in a way. Hell he didn't smile once through the entire story except maybe in his ending vid.

Once they gave him his english voice in DOAD, the insecurity sprouted up in a different way making him seem even more "goofy" and with Brad along side him, that doubled it because Brad has always been a goof.

What are you trying to provve to me?

I seem to have the unpopular opinion in that I enjoyed Story Mode. One of the funny things for me is, the MK community complained that we didn't get to use the entire roster in Story and DoA 5 lets you use pretty much everyone and one of the first complaints I heard about Story was that it was too long....

While I understood the storytelling mechanic of the time-shift as a way to include the entire cast, it could have been organized better. Another problem with this is optimizing the matchups for the training missions. It just adds another level of difficulty when you are trying to write a cohesive storyline.

When I heard there was a story mode, I really didn't have many expectations. I mean, this is coming from the same company that gave us the immortal "Everything is my Delusion!!!" from Hardcore. So i was pleasantly surprised at how it all came together. It is not an award-winning piece of fiction by any means, but it is much better than I expected.

The only thing I really hated was being forced to sit through "Kasumi's" death twice. That sucked.

I also wasn't a fan of Helena's English voice actor. I actually would have hired Maryse Ouellette (formerly of WWE) or someone like her.

I applaud Team Ninja's efforts on this mode. I just hope that for DoA 6 (cuz we all know there's gonna be one ;)) they try a different approach to the writing and maybe hire a new writer or two to rise above the typically inane "figter dialogue". DoA has a very compelling story that begs to be told.

Lisa and Christie didn't have a chapter...
Yeah yeah. I did say pretty much everyone, but I digress. And realistically, they didn't need chapters since they popped up all over the place.

I think Rig is a clone like Boba Fett is to Jango in Star Wars. He just looks too much like his "dad" to only be his son.

Only thing that annoyed me about the story is when Rig showed up at the end like we were supposed to have cared. They didn't give us a reason to. The build up for that was horrible. Other than that I didn't mind the story mode.

Well, tbh I didn't hate the story. I just hated the fact that Jann Lee won the tourney, but then again it kind of makes sense considering he's jackass tier.
I'm still confused as to how DOA4 Jan Lee was supposed to canonically beat DOA4 Hayabusa.

I'm still in denial. Ryu must have let him win. xD
