after hours training with Leon i decided to give Eliot a quick look...
7P :
-not only does it not causes any stun at all but hes only at +0 even on hi-counter hit so he gets no advantage whatsover. and its only use is to get opponents off him to reset the situation
6P+K
-it got no useful damage buff over vanilla 5 to compensate for it now causing knockdown
-his 33p2p bounce can't be followed up with anything at all
-his parries are the same frame advantage and give the same guaranteed followups as vanilla while suffering the nerf all parries got
-his mid p and k holds are exactly the same with nothing guaranteed
-his 2p and bt 2k low string enders are still negative on normal hit
his sitdowns are the same and guarantee nothing
as far as buffs go:
he gets refloats off of the 2nd P in his 4ppp string series and 2p+k p+k
his 3kp sitdown now bounds at max threshold and can be followed up with juggles
-his dragon kick is now a +3 GB on block
-the low kick in his 3pkp and 6k2kp now stuns on normal hit
-his only new move he got is 4k and is a i16 tracking mid which only gives him a shallow stun at +1 even on counter hit while pushing them too far back to get anything useful from. its still good for resetting the situation on command sidesteps like Jak and tank roll
everything else not mentioned are the same as vanilla 5 from what i remember
overall i find him better than vanilla and in contrast to other characters nerfs he seems pretty solid
