Leons default/turban outfit looks unfinished to me. I like seeing the small details like guns, knives and pockets etc (the stuff Bayman has). If TN put an outfit in the game, similar to the above, Leon could have all those little details, including the compact assault rifle slung over his back.
Now, if TN were trying to appease the gay and girl crowd, they could maybe add...?

Actually, jacky has an outfit thats similar to the second image but with a shirt.

I'd like something kinda scene kid for Elliot. Not exactly like the pics below but something similar imo that would show us a different side to him. I know his has that hood costume but i'd like something more darker.

The second and third outfits, I could totally see on Eliot.

Those particular two are the ones that stood out for me the most as well. Especially the checkered shorts.

2nd looks best but I like the ripped sleeveless shirt from the 1st/4th. Kid needs to reveal some more shoulders.

If you made that, then I think you are a pretty good artist. Theres just a few design changes I would make...
Keep the boots, the stockings and the gloves (nice design BTW) and replace everything else with something a lot more skimpy
The girls faces are one of their best assets, so I would generally stay away from any kind of mask.

Apart from Zack who is usually known to wear flashy colors, I think the guys could use a little pink in their wardrobe. It can range from subtle, light, pastel, peachy blush shades to poppy, saturated hot pinks and fuchsias. It's kinda boring how limited their color palette is compared to the girls. Most of their clothes are in the duller end of the spectrum with nothing but earthy tone colors. It's preferable if they were light casual clothes like shirts, tank tops and knitted sweaters.

Funny you mentioned that because I said the exact same thing too in a discussion about promotional costumes at the casual thread. XD

Regardless if it sell well or not, they can give like 2% of the gross sales for the breast cancer awareness campaigns in which it could make a win-win situation for both the consumers, the campaign and TN. It's a DLC for a cause anyways. I can imagine Hitomi being the face of this promotional costume among the females, being the girl with the standard pink headband and from the guys, probably Bayman but that's because I got a thought of him wearing a special pink beret lol.

Seriously...? Considering the girls of DOA having huge racks, which they are blatantly flaunting around all the time, it would be highly inconsiderate, even sadistic, to let them be the spokeswomen for breast cancer awareness. My mom works with woman suffering breast cancer every day... Some of these women have completely lost one or two of their breasts. They feel ashamed, unwomanly. They don't want to hear about breast cancer from silicone queens...

Last but not least, breast cancer awareness in a game that is obviously directed at male gamers?
