After seeing how Team Ninja marketized the particles in Last Round, and after observing Naotora's flashy effects, what would you say about personalized effects for each character's CB, PB and PL ? It would make them even more satisfying to use in my opinion.
Team Ninja would only have to create a dozen of effects and change the color to fit the character.
Leaves
green : he used them for his teleportations
orange : her symbol is the mapple leave
white : similar to his DOA4 ending
Lightning
red : no need to explain
blue : as a reminder of MIST labs
black : since he was manipulated
Energy
red : no need to explain
black : similar to the black smoke
purple : similar to her power blow
Wind
white : he is the shinobi of the wind
beige : because he comes from the desert
grey : his fist is so strong it moves dust
Watery
gold : as seen in her DOAD poster, her element is water
white : cause... milk
pink : if Helena represents the ocean, Kokoro is like a river
Feathers
black : like her wings in most costumes
red : her symbol is the phoenix
white : she fights like a white swan doing ballet
Confettis
red and blue : he is the American boss of the ring
gold and black : she seems to enjoy parties and drinking
yellow and red : she's so far to win a tournament.. or not
Blasts
brown : because he is a soldier after all
white : to remind us that she killed Maria Douglas
blue : because she likes to uses guns as well
Stars
yellow : she is looking for glory and fame
red : his punches stun the ennemy so much...
white : I have literally no argument for that
Sakura flowers exclusive to Kasumi
Purple butterflies exclusive to Ayane
