I don't know why people complain about the VF characters or say that they are broken. I strongly disagree with these statements. I know the VF characters are pretty OP online, because of the net code they can get away with allot of BS but offline they are descent characters and in no way OP just like Alpha, top tier sure but definitely not OP.
That said i'm glad we are getting another VF character i like how they play and am definitely going to be maining Jacky as well beside Akira and Sarah. Also im happy to get my Ein back as well and am looking forward to the next reveals.
As for, this guys being the last character reveals, i strongly doubt it since we still have 4 months to go and since TN decided to announce these characters already im betting there are much more characters to be revealed soon.
Edit: Not to mention, adding more VF characters = attracting more VF players to DOA = Good for the community. I truly hope TN and SEGA work together and join the two communities by making VFxDOA or DOAxVF either way i'll be playing.

But... does that mean the chance for a unique crossover (DOA/VF) are reduced. Like "erm, we already put the most popular characters -Sarah, Pai, Akira, Jacky- do you really feel the need for a another game?".
Or "we can't mix DOA's and VF's mechanics in a single game, so we decided to put Jacky as a consolation prize."
I hope I'm wrong and Aoi will join the cast too. That would make 1/4 of the casting already..

I hate VF. Keep that shit separate. DOA is DOA. DOA is not VF. It shouldn't be focused on promoting VF. Because if thats the case then they are trying to attract VF players. VF has some overhyped characters that no one even remotely cares about other than tournament players.............. ohh yeah yall gon feel mah wrath today. YAL GON LEARN TODAY! lol

I don't know if TN is trying to attract VF players, but considered the strong similarities between the two series, actually is a logical and smart move indipendently by personal likes/dislikes (the only weak point is that VF is not so popular in the Western area).
My only complaint is that I would prefer to see this in a real crossover rather than in a title of the DoA series (but maybe the chances for a real crossover are not so high).
It made sense for DOA5 because it was cross promotional.they appearing in DOA and the discussion about them peaked my interest so I bought VF5:FS,and it also made a few VF players decide to try the game out.
Now however that is done with the fans have played each others respective series.the ones who liked em stayed with them but do they really think they're going to attract anymore?

On top of the fact EVEN THE VF VETERANS DONT CARE TO PLAY IT. SO WHAT IS TN's POINT IN PUTTING THEM IN THERE?

And why all of a sudden, people don't want Jacky? All I heard on Twitter is people saying "add Aoi, add Eileen, Goh, Kage, etc." But now I'm hearing people dont want Jacky.....

Well, Virtua Fighter is famous to create a sequel of the series every next gen (or better always on a different console), so is really likely that a VF6 is coming relatively soon.
I agree! But I hope that will arrive also tag throws between Lei Fang and Pai Chan this time
They're fighting game characters with established movesets that use the same button layout and Team Ninja already has the tools in place to bring them over. It's extra content with a fraction of the cost of making a new character. That's why they're doing it.
