I only said the kof 14 models looks like PS2 models because they do.

I would never say that about ff14 because that doesn't. They actually have detail instead of looking like plastic mannequins. But the kof 14 models look like the character models from games like xenosaga, dark cloud, resident evil outbreak and code veronica, etc etc. Its lack of detail in the skin, mostly That's why I say that. It has nothing to do with polies or actual graphical power or technical specs.

Hell even some PS2 character models looked better than kof 14 lol. Metal gear solid 3 comes to mind.

On final fantasy, I downloaded the demo but haven't played it yet.

Looks good but that's standard for final fantasy. They are more art than game

I actually didn't know you saifpd anything about ps2 graphics if you meant me so its fine. And yeah kof characters have no skin definition and its really jarring.

Also does anyone know when the next episode of the anime is coming out? Is it going to be a weekly thing cause I think the anime is only 5 episodes long if I remember correctly!

Tyaren just obsesses over how I said that is all lol.

As for the anime, I dunno.

That guy from Neogaf just sounded a lot like Argentus ("The character model look like from a PS2 game."), so it might have really been him. >__>
And, no, the KoF models still don't look like PS2 models. XD

Did everyone else watch that anime episode? With the Medusa monster that will surely play some part in Noctis' back story as some sort of trauma.

I did and I won't give it any critique in here to not destroy your hype. XD And I have no clue when the next part comes out. o . O

Lol its okay you can give critiques if you want I saw some not great/rushed animation in it as well if that's what your thinking.

I watched it!! I think they'll release one episode per month since they're only 5 and the game releases in 6 months.
And yeah, the animation is really poor xD

Yeah, it's of pretty low quality actually... And that "fight" with the magitek soldiers...oh, dear! XD I guess all the budget went to Kingsglaive and Audi...

Yeah I noticed it was a bit off even just when they first showed it at the uncovered event. I'm okay with it though because its a good enough way to show extra backstory before the games release. I'll need to check on there channel to see if episode 2 is up yet!

Edit: @Nikotsumi yeah actually they might release them like that. I actually like that the episodes are just kind of short 10 minute exposition dumbs for the characters!

I think @Nikotsumi is right, it will probably be monthly...
Several anime series based on games did that. For example the Tales of Symphonia anime...

So if that's how the anime will be dealt with I wonder how they'll do the movie? We know its being streamed but I wonder if that means for free or not. I'd be willing to pay but hopefully its free!

By the way, the deep sleep/trauma that Noctis was in the demo was caused by the attack of that snake monster, they said. At the very beginning you can hear Noctis' father shouting for him.

The movie will not be free . :/ That's why it is also included in the expensive special editions. You will probably be able to download it directly from Square Enix's store and charged for film/series hosting sites.

Yeah I guess it would be to good to be true if it was free. I wonder why they aren't releasing it in theaters?! I'm sure people would go see it and they must have spent millions on the movie so I don't know if they'll get profit from just streaming it.

And yeah I like how the demo tied in with the anime. Its good to see that it's already connecting things together.

This article is a bit on the sensationalistic side. It's Kotaku... ;)
I thought they were finally going to go away after the Hogan trial. :/
Demo uses a dynamic resolution process as a sort of experiment and the upper limit is full HD.
I swore I saw the resolution changing while playing almost like I was watching a stream. Guess I was right and that explains the blurry edges in the pics I posted here.
Other news:
There is no PC version of FFXV in the works so far!
lol I like when the "PC MASTER RACE! ENJOY YOUR OUTDATED SH*T YOU CONSOLE SHEEP WHILE I GO MAKE LOVE TO MY COMPUTER WITH THE SPECIAL FLESHLIGHT MODIFICATION I PUT IN! CAN'T DO THAT WITH A PS4!" people don't get things. Sucks for the non-annoying PC people. It'll surely come sometime, maybe in another ten years.

As for the PS2 comments..do they even see Noctis's hair as he runs? It was impressive to me. Leviathan was pretty cool too.

If the description of the Collector's Edition is anything to go by there will only be 6 anime episodes with the sixth one being released exclusively with the CE. So five between now and release (including the one already out).

"Availabile exclusively from the Square Enix Online Store, the Ultimate Collector's Edition includes all Deluxe Edition content plus an additional exclusive two-disc steelbook containing the official Blu-ray Disc Music (featuring music from FINAL FANTASY XV, KINGSGLAIVE and BROTHERHOOD) and the BROTHERHOOD Blu-ray (containing an exclusive sixth episode). Also includes a PLAY ARTS -KAI- Noctis action figure with Ultimate Edition-exclusive weapon."
https://store.na.square-enix.com/product/398306/final-fantasy-xv-ultimate-collector-s-edition-ps4

Deluxe Edition comes with Kingsglaive, DLC, and Steelbook.

That was a copy paste and the word "available is misspelled on the official page. Lol.
Play Arts Kai stuff typically runs $100 to $250 per model so the vast bulk of the whole price is going for the model in case people wondered about the cost ($269.99 USD), take $70 off because DE and the model would probably be worth about $170 given the average price of new release Blu Ray movies and maybe $5-$10 for the cost of the DLC as future DLC (if they go that route, which they probably will). Pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition myself. I'm an FF nut but even I can't justify that kind of cost for a CE. I want a Dragoon PAK model bad but the price for one is potentially the same cost as this CE.

Sorry if you guys already posted this, skipped a couple pages because holy crap I don't have that kind of time to read that much at once.

You must have amazing eyes to notice the resolution change, lol. XD Even a graphical art enthusiast like me doesn't. (That's what I now decided to call myself by the way. It'd be kind of you all to refer to me as such as well instead of less polite terms. u . U)
The blurry edges have apparently more to do with their temporary antialiasing solution. It needs a little time to smooth out edges. Unfortunately Noctis never really stands still, fumbling around all the time...as do lots of other things in the game and while you are actually playing in general.

It's just so unoptimized...*sigh* Still I thought the IQ looked considerably better than in Duscae.

Additionally to the PC Master Race we will soon have too deal with the PS4k master race as well... .__. I by the way really expect a PC version of FFXV after maybe a year. They probably don't have to wait for too long. Square Enix wants the money. They need it after 10 years of development, feature-length films, luxury cars and that multi million dollar promo campaign for the Uncovered event more than ever.

The CE is probably long sold out anyway. Just 30.000 world wide is really few. I actually might have considered buying it if I had a little more time to think and I wouldn't have to buy it from Square Enix but from one of my preferred stores. But maybe that was part of the plan. Don't give the fans time to think. XD
I really would have loved the art book though and it is usually so hard or even impossible to get them outside of the CEs. I really love the art in this game, f***! :(

You know as well as I do that the game should of included Gilgamesh products for the sake of classics. Hopefully Gilgamesh is this game's optional superboss for post-game content.

You can deny it all you want but they really do lol.

But I don't have a neo whatever account so no, not me.

Anyways the main problem I'm seeing with this game is that none of the character designs stand out really. They all come across as bland and generic. Past final fantasies all had the characters be vibrant and unique but these guys feel like nameless extras
