Yeah, I'm not too big on playing Black Veil Brides the whole game either.

But VIIR will have Tifa and Yuffie... I'll be spending my time with them.

I think dlc stories are possibly going to be a thing so It would be nice to see Luna be the protagonist of one of them. I think the dlc stories might be added to the over world of XV though so it will probably be just for Noctis etc.

Have they said if we can continue playing after the worlds been saved or whatever's happening?

I actually like Cindy's design though its clearly not at all what a real mechanic would wear since she'd be covered in cuts and burn marks with the outfit she's wearing since it gives like zero protection.

Depends on the work. Whenever I work on my truck the only time I actually wear protective clothing is when I have to use anything that shoots out sparks and that clothing is just pants, gloves, and glasses and the most damage I get is oily/dirty hands/arms. Most auto mechanic work can reasonably be done in what she is wearing (coming from a guy who has basically rebuilt all the vehicles I've owned since I was 14). It's a fan service outfit anyway, don't look too hard into it.

There will probably be a form of free travel up to the final boss like there usually is and from there you get to decide if you want to go to new game + or not and the world opens up even more if you don't go to NG+.

I think that has pretty much become the standard in RPGs, hasn't it? Especially in those open-world with lotsa quests type of games. They will at least transfer you right back before the last boss encounter.

Yeah I'm sure it will, personally though I hope its the Witcher 3 kind of post game where it takes place after the final boss and the worlds a tiny bit different instead of pushing you back to before the boss fight.

I hope XV sets the play style of future final fantasy's to come that they'll be fully open world from now on.

Yeah I'm sure it will, personally though I hope its the Witcher 3 kind of post game where it takes place after the final boss and the worlds a tiny bit different instead of pushing you back to before the boss fight.

I hope XV sets the play style of future final fantasy's to come that they'll be fully open world from now on.

I certainly hope the world isn't wiped out to a half during the story or post ending exploration won't be much fun for me. I also don't want any huge pillars of black smoke rising from burning vampire corpses ruining the view, please.

To keep if FF15, do people think this is a good replacement (still least band aid) for witcher 3? I am developing a pre order fetish (and have a birthday gift on hold) so need some strong opinions. Is this where I board the FF train?

The FFXV director Tabata said he and the crew consider The Witcher 3 as the pinnacle of RPGs right now and that they were influenced by it. But I don't know how similar it really will be. But I do think it will be the best possible substitute coming out in the near future. Early 2017 Horizon Zero Dawn will probabaly be an even better Witcher 3 alternative.
