I thought I somehow missed a new trailer too lol
Doesn't really bother me, I mean it looks very good as is and that's good enough for me. As long as the gameplay is good/awesome it could literally be a ps2 game I'd still play it.

Can you please not say that out loud? THEY WILL HEAR you and do exactly that and it will be your fault. .__.
I wonder if its anyone from squares job to research how fans are responding to the game and have seen what we've said. Thinking of which I wonder if people from TN have seen this forum?!
They usually do. They are interested in what fans have to say. And, yes, several TN employees know of this forum and read it. I sometimes wished I was a little more reserved with my critique. XD
They didn't /haven't listened to what Ein fans want. Costumes or gameplay wise.
I highly doubt Square would do that lol they'd have a HUGE backlash from many gamers both in the west and Japan. Hell they got criticised in Japan for making the demo hard (even though it isn't actually hard at all?)
There were monsters that could down you very easily but its REALLY hard to actually die and get a game over... Also potions are full heals when downed and Ignis constantly heals you in battle. And THEN there's a mechanic that lets you regenerate HP. With all this stuff its impossible to make the game hard its Incredibly easy.
Also explore everywhere. They did a solid job of making sure to hide some goodies in places you have to jump/drop down to, and some others off the beaten path.So I should do all the sidequests then. okay.
I'm hoping there's a hard mode that turns some of that off/tones it down. Or something in the options maybe make it so you can only take a few hits when downed before dying? Since you need to be 0HP to be able to use Summons.
Many Japanese found the game too difficult and inaccessible because FFXV borrows heavily from Western RPG mechanics and many Japanese Final Fantasy fans just didn't know where to go and what to do. Only a small percentage of them even finished the demo. I don't remember the number but it was alarming. Something like 20 % only finished it or something like that. XD

Even at the very beginning. Like, in the prologue.
Except it doesn't... The demo literally just Lightning Returns' mechanics without stagger and in real-time they even improved the perfect guard system with a counter attack. And doesn't the demo flat out tell you where to go several times? Many Japanese found the game too difficult and inaccessible because FFXV borrows heavily from Western RPG mechanics and many Japanese Final Fantasy fans just didn't know where to go and what to do. Wow that's crazy! I hope that doesn't mean it won't sell well.
