Waiting list? So you will only get one if someone else backs out? If you eventually get the UCE I am willing to pay you 30$ for the art book. But I already told you that.

Ah no don't think so, I believe they haven't actually finalized the edition I hear as they are trying to push the default copy and deluxe edition. Like when I made my pre-order they didn't take my money as of yet, but when you order the default and deluxe off anywhere they'll take your money until release but you have the option for the refund if you want to make the cancel (exception of PSN by law). Ultimate version sent an email way back about them still working on the edition.

As for the artbook I kinda want it lol. If I find another in mint perfect condition i'll let you know.

Some random yet interesting news about FFXV:

There will be a cooking minigame in there:

Everyone who liked Episode Duscae's controll scheme (including me) will be pleased to know that this controll scheme will be as "Type B" available in the game too:

According to Nielsen Game Ranking (it collects data on the internet regarding awareness of a game, anticipation of a game, purchase interest, pre orders, preview ratings etc.) Final Fantasy XV is with just one percent difference to Battlefield and CoD the most anticipated game this holiday:

China gets a Death/Reaper Console:

(Funny how it is officially callled Final Fantasy 15 there.)

Last but not least, a cactuar was finally sighted in the desert:

They seem to be very rare and very quick... :)

Omg yay a Cactuar! :) I'm happy we've finally seen it so now I can just hope for Ton berry's. I wonder if that means Gigantuars will be in? Just don't be as annoying to defeat as XIII's.

Good to see its doing well too and has some mini games.

The CGI opening of Justice Monsters Five (the arcade game that you will be able to play in FFXV's diners) has been released:

Lol, so trashy. XD
Here's some gameplay of the game which is already available for phones:

Edit:
OMG, the cactuars are so fast you can only really see them in slow motion:

@Jadeinchains you will have to be fast. XD

For everyone as hyped as me about FFXV releasing in 6 weeks, here's a great retrospective series of the development process the game had beginning from being Final Fantasy Versus XIII to becoming Final Fantasy XV. Every day the Youtuber YongYea will upload a new, interesting part of the retrospective until the release of the game. Since he already started some days ago, here's the first three videos, the other recent ones I will post here each day. :)

Interesting about Cactuars is that they have different versions of themselves in lore. Some provide tons of EXP along with some having insane speed in battle turns, you even have Cactuars that are super high in defense.

- There's the original classic Cactuar that occasionally have options to run away from battle and the ability to cast Haste on themselves. Their general attacks is usually 1000 needles and higher level versions have access to the magic called Slow, they even have a high evasion ratio that makes them hard as hell to hit.

- Another version to them are called Metal Cactuars, these guys usually take centuries to attack and they continuously buff their defense for literally no reason, but usually killing them grants tons of EXP and even rare drops in the new FFs. Taking too long to kill them will make them flee from battle. They are the newest edition to the series.

- Then there's the really huge ones called Gigantuar (they use to be called Cactuar Jumbo if i'm correct), these guys are huge with some having a curly mustache to legitimately troll you and they have TONS of health. Back then they were considered bosses and have access to HP breaking moves like 10,000 needles (old FFs had HP capped to 9999 so these guys can 1-shot a character in the team if they wanted). If I remember correctly, FFVIII had one as a boss within a nearby island in a desert, beating it gets you a Cactuar summon on your team.

FFXV development team has done an incredible job to perfectly recreate on how Cactuars are suppose to be. Cactuars by nature don't really like battles and will mostly only fight if they are together with another.

What I find cool is that the recent FFXV videos has the team battling other monsters and you just see a random Cactuar pass by and go "Oh god are they fighting? because I DO NOT want to be apart of this. Oh god....no no no no no no is he chasing m- Oh god he is! no no no no no no no time to kick it up a notchhhhh vrooooooooooooooooooom -Swoosh-."

This might just interest @Argentus but a new extensive expansion (like Heavensward) was just announced for Final Fantasy XIV called "Stormblood:

I will probably be extremely difficult to get hold of one, which is awesome. There will surely be a designated quest to hunt down a cactuar. :)

I can imagine a Cactuar looking at a bulletin board of a quest to hunt it down.

"Wait WHY. This has to be some sort of mistake, this is not the world justice system I want to live in. Is it because I'm a monster? I am no monster!" -reads reason to be hunted- 'A speedy green thing has stepped over my property and ran off, kill it quick and I will pay you.'

"Oh god I was only there for like 2 seconds! *Gets spotted right there on the spot* "Annnnnnnnd that's my queue to leave, time to scrammmmm -Swoosh again!-"

goddam i still haven't managed to penetrate into FF14. my last attempt ended in abysmal failure when i payed for my friends subscription and they immediately lost their internet for pretty much the entire subscription period. He finally got it back like two days from expiring but i really wasn't in a great mood so i didn't even try.

I heard good things about FF14 as well as bad ones. The good ones surprisingly overshadow the bad so it's not the end of the world, but it's definitely a game where you "have" to cooperate with others to get the best feature out of it. (Raids for gear etc.)
