not really Tag2 has 100+ swimsuits...I believe that is far better my friend~ thats like 2 per character almost
You don't get it. Either way, we knew DOA would do it but Tekken? They must be that desperate...

And im surprised Tekkens going for the swim suit pre orders too. And 100?! Dead or alive 5 is only getting 12 right?

Tekken is doing that because Harada is the man. Plus there is a rivalry thing between the companies. Its been like that for years.

So Tekken getting 100 swim suits, to DOAs several is Harada saying, "Anything you can do I can do better."

But with these swim suits deal, I'd like say it's more of a great troll move than anything.

Yeah i like tekken but the girls in that game are bland i dont know, maybe because tekken plays not as fluid it feels a bit robotic.

AH  There! That's why I'm no longer feeling it for Tekken. It feels sluggish and robotic compared to DOA. Thank you.You found the right words to express why I choose DOA over Tekken.

wow Dead or Alive is going to be hurting even more now. Hell I'm not the biggest fan of tekken but the pre-order bonuses for tag 2 are pretty sweet (4 characters, 100 swimsuits, snoop dog stage(?)...I'm not a huge fan of the characters or the world of tekken (hell most of the characters annoy the hell out of me) but even I have to admit 50+ fighters, decent customization, and the gameplay does look to be pretty decent. I've been on the fence on whether to purchase tekken (I enjoyed 6) but this is definitely pushing me towards going ahead and pre-ordering it.

pre-order bonus for DOA looks pitiful in comparison now...hell sure the females get swimsuits and for pre-ordering you get all of them not just 3 of them with tekken but along with that tekken also gets swimsuits for the male characters something DOA does not have...

wonder if this will affect team ninja at all to give us something else as well...they might have to if they have any hope in competing with tekken now. competitiveness between two companies is usually only a good thing for the fans. although this might just be wishful thinking.

1st: I would like to say that TN does NOT have the budget that Tekken has, hence the really cool trailers Tekken has and the amount of shit they can put into a game.
2nd: Having 50+ can be negative, in terms of balance, how many characters will actually be played, how many will more than likely never be touched, and learning THAT many match ups.

Yeah the pre orders are nice but its also a bad thing for people that didnt pre order. Sometimes pre orders too big can be a hindrance. Pre orders too me should be like DOA5s, something small and not adding to much to a game.

1. true and I do personally like Dead or Alive better. flows better. characters are better. gameplay seems better, and it just looks like the better game. however I'm not so sure TN will just sit back and let this insult by the tekken peeps directly to them go unanswered. If anything maybe an announcement sooner rather than later to stop people from continuously talking about Tekken.

2. I completely agree with you. Hell some of the best fighting games out there have smaller rosters and often the ones with larger rosters only have half of the characters actually in many match-ups.

I've been thinking of picking up tekken for awhile (two people I know are huge tekken fans) and said that if I buy tekken they'll buy Dead or Alive...they want someone to play against and I want someone to play against decent trade-off I think.

I have to say though I'm not a huge fan of the pre-order bonus for Dead or Alive...the fur bikinis are not nice to look at and hell I'm not a huge fan of the ears either. still I suppose it is better than nothing...just wish gamestop had the choice of the other characters but whatever.

so do we think the pre-order costumes will be available via DLC in the future or will these be 1-time exclusives?

also yeah agreed I hate pre-order bonuses but recently they've often been available as paid DLC or free DLC further down the road...now days it seems pre-order bonuses are simply time exclusives that may or may not cost money further down the road if you miss it at first. at least hopefully that's the case here.

Becasue fans asked for it you twit....the kunimitsu swim suit should have been the tip off. Cuz u dont follow tekken just means your ignorant to the request for such things as Lee in a Speedo...people asked for that and like all the characters who are returning from like a 10 year hiatus....its obvious that tag 2 is for its fans. I didnt ask for half of that but im greatful for it.

Lol i find it funny people are complaining about tekken having too many characters...yet you guys are doing the same shit..talk aboit double standards. Cuz Leon may get cut...thats bad? Ok...

I think there's a big difference between 25ish characters and 50+....just saying.

lol I thought the forum was moderated against anything aside from hell.

also the more I look into it the more I realize Tekken is very slow in comparison to Dead or Alive. Maybe I won't get it after all.

I was just making light of your overuse lol. It's not really forbidden to swear (obviously) but I'd probably avoid cussing someone out.

Tekken is actually very fast, but it's not as...smooth a game as DoA. DoA is and always will be my favorite fighter and that's a major reason. I never enjoyed Tekken until T6 thanks to the inclusion of a character I actually enjoy playing (Lars). I'll be getting both but if I was forced to choose there wouldn't even be a second thought in my mind about choosing DoA5 over TTT2U.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I keep vacillating between whether to get the tekken game but dead or alive is already paid off and pre-ordered so there was no doubt in my mind about getting that game. Hell I still like dead or alive 2 hc over tekken 6 (favorite tekken game so far). I may get tekken (new) I may not...more time is needed I think before I decide but I will get it eventually.
