Although a fair warning the last person I taught Helena to switched to Kasumi... that's right Allan Paris I'm looking at you o_0
I've told you before. I have ALWAYS been a Kasumi player (since DOA2), that will never change. Helena was a character that I wanted to pick up on the side, since DOA3. I did eventually pick her back up, and taught myself a few tricks. My tricks over shadowed the things you were showing you were showing me, lol.
I am pretty sure you'll find new, actual, Helena players who will train with you in DOA5.
If you can mind fuck someone you can still win with her, and I plan on sodomising the entire DOA community with her.>DOA5
>Helena players
Hahah.
Count me in guys! I was planning on doing a very similar idea but from the uk side. So if anyone's in europe and is looking for sum insight id be more than glad to help out![]()
well then why don't you shift over to the dark side and get it on xbox ?I would take you on that but since you're on XBox360 it's a no go haha
I don't know if I should be asking about this but I'm wondering if I may link the site to Neogaf when the Official Topic for Dead or Alive 5 comes. This is great help to the players and I guess the more people learning the better. I would pretty much link people to the site and mention the plans of this training sessions you guys will do if that is not a problem. I'm thinking if I should also mention DOAcentral there but since I don't have an account there and I havent look around much there. I would like to show the communities for the game on that OT.
Anyhow I guess that lies in the hands of the mods or owner of the site if I get the permission to link them.
Thanks in advance.
DoAC no longer exists, though the people behind it made TKPlayers. Link anything you want of course, since the goal is to make the community as large and strong as possible, but encourage registration here. Makes coordinating things significantly easier.I don't know if I should be asking about this but I'm wondering if I may link the site to Neogaf when the Official Topic for Dead or Alive 5 comes. You mentioned the three major DoA sites at this point, with FSD and DoAW being the most active. There's nothing wrong with DoAW at all, but as I've said before it just seems to attract a slightly different type of fan than FSD. All types of fans are welcome at both sites as far as I know. I can't speak to DoAW too much though as I'm not a member. I doubt Mr. Wah is going to set up a specific site for the training sessions as it's really just a community effort like everything else here. Probably just use this thread or another depending on how we decide to move with it.
I'd appreciate it if you kept the focus on this site to the competetive/technical end of the spectrum, just a a user. I can go to other fansites for other fancies, but I've come to expect a higher level of maturity and focus <don't ask me why> from FSD. If the administration here doesn't mind. Thanks you very much! I'll add them all to what I have written at the moment then.
I nominate Peacefuljay http://www.twitch.tv/peacefuljay He's always on Doa4 in the lobbies.Alright, bumping this up because I'm starting to lay groundwork. For streaming/archival purposes, though, I'm gonna need a hand. Since my current setup for capture requires me to record my voice separately and edit it in later, it'll sound really weird to people watching a stream. In order to remove that issue and take care of streaming all in one fell swoop, I'd like to ask for someone to assist us with streaming, ideally with a Twitch account so we have an archive automatically created.
Any takers? I'd prefer if you can record and stream in at least 720p. If you have everything but the ability to cap in HD (bandwidth, streaming capabilities, et al) get at me. We'll talk.
