Character Roster

Grant: looks like he survived so he will be DLC. Also shown in Vox's story.

We finally get to see what Gao, Gato and Hotaru's father, look like.

We have bosses: Nightmare Geese returning and a brand new exclusive boss version of Rock, known as Fallen Rock. Fallen Rock is basically Rock being possessed by his father (Nightmare version) and wearing his father's outfit.

Looks like RB2 fans will now get a second chance as Rick Strowd and Alfred are planned.

Blue Mary, Duck King, Wolfgang Krauser and Ryo Sakazaki (possibly as Mr. Karate II) are expected to return.

4 slots are empty, although there are 2 in the filled area, so those are reserved for Ken and Chun-Li. My guesses for the remaining could be for Ryuji Yamazaki, Alice Garnet Nakata (as she is part of the franchise because of the pachinkos and not for KOF exclusivity), Li Xiangfei and we may get more AOF characters such as Robert, Yuri or even King.

Unfortunately, Kim Kaphwan is out because of his sons and I think others such as the Jin Brothers and Tung may not appeared... unless...

I haven't played enough of it so not sure how I feel. I understand it's a network test, but really wish the beta had a training mode because it's a lot to remember when it comes to system mechanics. You really can't enjoy something if you don't understand how to play. Nevertheless I'll still try. Wait times for finding matches seem to be long (for me) so it's best to play with a friend/buddy to get your practice in.

There are so much mechanics in this game, I'm a bit overwhelmed. And... Rock needs some toning. Dude got so much damaging combos.

I think I'll buy the game when it does drop. It seems slow paced but throwing in feints, and brakes add block string pressure and mixups that are scary. It's probably best to take this game in parts to not get overwhelmed with the mechanics. I think at a high level, this will be one of the best 2D fighters to date.

So now leakers believed Freeman will NOT be playable and so is Grant, which in Vox's story, he's assumed dead.

Character 27 is actually... Kasumi Todoh! (OH SHIT) oh and Jae Hoon may go to DLC because the bosses may be base roster.
