Interesting games w/ HisReverence on random ranked solo. He has amazing skill. Sorry I'm at the low intermediate level. Each match he stopped fighting after a while, probably because my skill's so low. The only other person from FSD I've fought online is iMightSnipe2, who is at my level. Hopefully I can try more people my level on PS3.
Well, he made an announcement a few days ago that he was deliberately lowering his rank, so that's more likely the reason.
What times are you usually on? Your profile says you're from California, so we should have a pretty smooth connection. And in general I like to play everyone I can on PSN/FSD.

Oh, that's what was going on. I've been trying to do the opposite (for fun), but will stay at D- if that is my fate. So many "lag ninjas".

I have to visit my brother on weekends to use the PS3, and can play Fri. evening, and varied times Sat. & Sun. I don't play well late at night, so I'm not on after 10 PM.

gg @ToKyo PewPew. Those games are still hard for me. I have learnt to refrain from doing a direct mid-punch when i run to you, but i just freeze too much. The poke game still scares me a lot but now i feel i can do something with it.

Your reads and mix-ups are very good. Can't hold your Kokoro for anything and was about to loose matches a lot because you had some nice comebacks this way. If you are able to improve your movement, you will dominate a match even better. Poke game will not happen if you force your opponent to respect the space you can control, telling him "Don't come any closer!". Of course, this does not mean you should throw out moves non-stop while spacing.
Other than that, you just lack a bit of knowledge about other characters strings, but who does not as someone who is relatively new to the game. That comes with time.
Actually, I'm not training him. Playing Ein is just a lot of fun when it comes to basics like footsies or whiff punishment. I'm absolutely clueless about his combos and (most of his) frame data
