I didn't really like DOA4 tbh. DOA3 AND DOA5 FOREVER

I remember the first time playing 5's story mode I found it bizarre how young/immature Hitomi acted when Ayane bumped into her in the jungle. Now that Honoka and MR are the official "kawaii" buddies maybe they can make Leifang the snobby college girl and Hitomi the determined karate fighter again.

Hitomi's crush on Ein is nothing new, she had feelings for him to begin with. In fact her sole reason of joining the tournament in 3 is to find Ein and bring him back to the dojo.Now that I see it... she has become a bit more...kawaii...

Wasn't her reason for joining to prove to her overprotective father that she was strong enough to be out on her own? The whole Ein/Hayate seemed to be just because she happened to bump into Hayate at the tournament and recognized him as Ein.

In my opinion DoA3 Hitomi is definitely different from Doa5, but some original traits of the character were brought back as her passion/seriousness for becoming a fighter, and her role appeared much more serious abandoning the absurd comic reliefs - as the cabbage or the dinosaur scenes - that made the girl airhead in DoA4 (element - together with the crazy circumstances - that instead is now attribuited to Kokoro, even if actually it's not genuine because part of her trolling). Hitomi in DoA5 has a kawaii side, but in general I think that she should be overall "classified" as a more positive and overactive version of her DoA3's one
