Tengu was playable in his god tier mode in DOA2/ultimate as well he wasn't removed from online also he was the worst in 4 and yet was still playable so this is unfair for any Alpha fan. (sorry Tengu fans)
Actually, it was Tekken 5 Dark Ressurection that had online play.
The "Nina-the-Old-Hag-is-Just-Too-Powerful" vanilla version, however, did not.
Thanks for changing my mind Team Nachos!!!Pfft, screw that. *Grabs nachos w/hot cheese and a gatorade*
Butbutbut I want to play with Alpha...she's my favorite. I'm entirely aware of how badly she sucks. I mained her in Dimensions, haha. I studied every single inch of her.You guys wouldn't have wanted to play with Alpha trust me.
And Jin Master is newborn athlete in case no one figured it out.
New players that don't know how to hold will get wrecked by every character. Kind of a redundant point there.I'll say this the ban was good, new players that don't know how to hold are going to get wrecked by her, let Team Ninja see what she's capable of in offline play and adjust her accordingly and then release her into the wild. I'd bet all the walnuts in my walnut tree that she's had the least amount of balance testing.

Longest =/= most powerful.Yeah, but this character has the stigma of a boss character and has the longest strings in the game.
Longest =/= most powerful.
Yeah, I can agree with that one. Against players who aren't that good in DOAD, I tend to abuse PPPPPPP and 4KKKK and always finish them. In that case, ban the VF characters for having frustratingly long juggles in which you're helpless to defend against.(I really don't mean it, just giving an example)Not my point. I'm just saying Team Ninja is probably assuming that her long strings would frustrate new players more and I'd agree with that.
