Koei Tecmo making Nintendo Switch games, hope for DOA on Nintendo Switch?

I don't think that a DOA game in a Nintendo's console, DOAD is on 3DS but that game was forbiden in somes european countries, and games with sexual themes is difficult to see in a Nintendo game console

I thought the europe banning was only in sweden because that game had underaged characters? With the exception of Phase 4 (who is biologically around 17 to 19 years old), every character in doa is of legal age now. I would think the games are fine for a nintendo console. Maybe they would tone things down to be sure though.

Maybe toning them down would mean less skimpy outfits and more realistic outfits (i.e. casual ones)

Exactly. Tone down the sexy costumes. Of course, seeing how they are about doax3, they probably don't have it in them to do that, which may mean that they won't "make the switch".

Wonder if we'd get a Nintendo guest as an exclusive for the game, would be cool if so

Bayonetta would be cool

Give Sarah Bryant a Zero Suit Samus costume...
#ThirstyBokuho
Agreed, they both look strikingly alike, long blonde hair in ponytails, blue bodysuits, both I think in their 20's (I know Sarah is at least 24 as of VF5). Yes I agree give Sarah a ZSS look, complete with beauty mark. Bayonetta would make more sense as a guest fighter in DOA, she can be easily sexually exploited (she can use her wicked weaves as a power blow)

They certainly aren't known for making new IP's so i can't see them making anything different, but they have had doa and ninja gaiden on nintendos stuff. They are a weird company that only seems to wanna be family friendly when they feel like it lol. So i cant predict how they'd want them to go about making anything for it. senran kagura was also on the 3Ds and even T rated? But i personally hope they keep doa to the ps4/Xbox/pc Maybe they'll continue working with the fatal frame games if anymore are gonna be made though (didnt like 5 :/ ) maybe they can resurrect that old project that was actually gonna be about kasumi and ayanes pasts. I'd really like to see that.

I'm a true Nintendo fan but I skipped the Wii U generation (for many reasons). But if DOA is announced on NX, I'll sell my PS4 and buy a NX instantly. I'm a little biased.

Anyway. Can't wait for an announcement. How likely is it ?

I'm going to vote unlikely for DOA5.

Im pretty sure that has at least considered the possibility of doing another rerelease for doa5 but it seems a bit late into the game's lifespan for that to happen. Maybe it could be done as a launch title like dimensions was for 3ds but if they were planning that they would have announced something by now.

I think it's more likely that they would at least consider releasing doa6 for the switch at the same time as the ps4 and xbone versions. I think, however, that they will treat it like a pc version in that it will not be as good looking and probably get far less support as the other versions.

When such an announcement would happen, thats a question we can only guess at but lets hope we hear something in 2017

Nintendo's mission statement regarding innovation unfortunately also applies to their controllers first and foremost, and this greatly hampers traditional fighting game functionality. I would not see DOA on the Nintendo Switch as a boon, even if a minority of enthusiasts picked up a pro-variant controller.

Could it bring in a few more people to the series, and possibly convince them to hop over to other systems? Maybe. But it would also take developers off of other projects, which would be harmful in the long run and with very little gain for the community itself. So I would hope this is not the case, despite the fact I am loving the Switch right now.

They released a DOA game on a 3DS, so it's definitely a possibility for DOA to arrive on the Switch.

That said... If it's DOA5 in any shape or form, I will not be getting it. That game has been milked enough. And rather than DOA, I think a Ninja Gaiden would likely be more suitable for the console.

Maybe it'll be a DOA5 reboot, similar to how DOA Dimensions was a DOA4 reboot

I could see all the DOA5 Last Round characters plus some more being added. Maybe there will be a new male and female (could be to replace Genra and Shiden) along with a Nintendo exclusive character or more

Maybe Linkle could be a guest

Just get ready to say bye bye to VF casts in case Sega don't want further business deals or just being too complicated to work with.

I don't understand that stuff, but is it better than PS Vita? Weaker than Wii U?

According to some article I read but don't remember who wrote it has confirmed Switch to be better than the Wii U..... there is however one Caveat.... There is a Performance drop when using it in undocked mode..... the GPU clocks itself down to increase Battery Life. However I wouldn't worry.... thanks to the change in Display its not something you notice unless you go out if your way looking for it.

Here's a good analysis:

Digital Foundry know their stuff and they are also part of Eurogamer who for some reason always get everything leaked. XD

To sum it up, Lulu already did a pretty good job, the Switch will be more powerful than the WiiU but it won't reach Xbox One or even PS4 levels in docked mode and in handheld mode it has to scale back further due to overheating and battery life to a little below WiiU performance. But that's alright, since the resolution of the tablet is just 720p anyway. A game will still look as good or better than WiiU titles.
Bad news: Switch won't compete graphically with PS4/Xbox One and third party developers might find it again hard to port their PS4/Xbone/PC titles to Switch.
Good news: Switch will still be the most powerful handheld ever.
