Last Round - First Impressions

I don't know, what the PS3 setting is in that video. :/ But yeah, probably natural. The biggest improvement isn't the extremer bouncyness though, I think. It looks, as if they have fixed the sometimes too slow motion of the breasts. Did you notice, that sometimes, when the girls were moving really fast, the breast bounce would lag behind? It looked really weird, when the girls for example would jump high, were at their highest point, but the breasts would still be be pressed down. In Last Round the breasts seem to react faster and more "natural". Just as two huge water balloons would react in real live.

ALL the women on the right page are concept design for Female Tengu.
There are 10 Females Tengu with different personality. As you can see from young to mature with different body type.
One female tengu is named as Tengu Hime (Princess Tengu).

First impressions?

Slightly annoyed I had to redo all of my settings (Music, game options, etc), but cool that I don't actually have to buy Last Round on top of getting 2u on sale to get the contest costumes.

The patch made absolutely NO changes to Mila on a fundamental level, so she handles exactly the same, except now you can just press PP or KK to feint attack instead of HP or HK. Though I'm still pressing HP or HK now just because i'm conditioned by this point. PP and KK are MUCH easier however. I always complained how convoluted the input was for doing that.

New health bars are good and bad. Good in that the blue green is nice to look at, bad because they kept the red glow which ruins it.

So far it feels almost exactly the same, but with cool costumes.


Gonna get Raidou ASAP after I finish resetting my music

exactly lol.

This is exactly what I was hoping for, since the costumes were the only content I cared about.

Also ERMAGERD I LOVE MARAUDER LEON. (I thought textures were flat in screenshots, but in game, they actually are detailed and look like cloth!)

The "free" costumes are currently not even in the list in character select.


Also, while I still don't like Mila's new costume (AT ALL. Doesn't help that those superwhite boots are really distracting), I did get a kick out of making "Team Metal Slug"!

well to be fair, it evened out by all the costumes that WERE supposed to be free, suddenly up and disappearing from my character select entirely...

So while I gained Maraduer leon, I lost legacy, santa, football, werewolf, and spartan leons.

well shit, so I didn't need to spend ANY money on Last Round, and instead I wasted 10 buying the full U game...

It is fair though. Last gen players are only getting the 2 new characters and the fan outfits. This is probably the last DLC they even get.
