Diego looks like Kazuma Kiryu, so I hope he gets some yakuza looking attire.
Wish he were Italian but alas... More US.

What's that little thing attached to the chain on his belt?

And so yeah I wonder If we'll see more reveals at EVO but If we don't then I'm happy the reveals were earlier than I'd thought cause that 2 month wait between reveals was killing me lol, Hopefully we don't need to wait that long again until the next reveals. Maybe at TGS or maybe every couple of weeks they'll do a reveal but who knows.

I'm surprised we haven't seen Ayane yet! Maybe the next reveal will be her? I'm guessing we could see the new female character soon now.

Bass is too busy at the moment SJWing Tina for DOA6. He's worried Tina might cast in a casting couch set when she's running for mayor.

You know how in the reveal trailer Zack was wearing the same shorts but then when his render on the official doa6 site came out we saw that that's actually his new C1 outfit? I think that might be the case with Rig too, We'll need to wait until his render comes out though to see.

Let the downgrading begin...

downgrade.jpg

Ignore the image compression in the new image, there isn't better footage, but direct your eyes to the missing shadowing and lighting effects in the background, for example on the giant screen and the tribune.

The lighting in the NYC backyard was downgraded as well. Due to the darkness image compression is even worse, so no image comparison in that case for now.

I guess that is always bound to happen...*sighs*

Maybe the EVO build is PS4 remember E3 was on a PC its likely just a different platform.

The PS4 would definitely be able to render shadows within that distance. That's not an issue in other games that are multi platform either. Shadow maps would be less detailed, blurrier or more pixelated on console than on PC though. Hopefully it is just a bug or oversight. Like the belly button thing, lol.

Or I guess I have to buy an Xbox One X afterall...

Yeah but those games usually aren't 60fps without pro either. I'll take less dynamic shadowing for 60fps thanks.

PC version will have full 4K and those shadows in the final build I guarantee it its only console getting the the downgrade hammer

Uh...no. Tekken 7 or Soul Calibur 6 for example also have the exact same shadow draw distance on consoles and PC, the shadow maps are just lower resolution on console. Downgraded shadows, yes, that's a given, completely missing shadows in that proximity to the camera is highly unusual.

Man... I'm just trying to be positive for once and giving TN the benefit of the doubt.

It honestly sucks that most games by now are optimized for PC and then afterwards heavily downgraded on consoles. (Before any PC owner now gets angry, lemme finish...) When the console versions are optimized first and the PC version gets a visual boost afterwards (DOA5LR on PC doesn't count, that was a late and particularly lazy port) there are usually much better results on all platforms. (Injustice 2, Final Fantasy XV, Nier Automata, Nioh...) I had hoped Team Ninja wouldn't go the Tekken 7 and SC6 route since DOA grew on consoles to what it now is and the console versions, especially the PS4 version, will have the highest sales and it will probably be the version future tournaments use. There are several good reasons why the console versions should have priority.

Well, I'll just get the Xbox One X version. That one should come pretty close to the PC version.

As someone who owns both a high end PC and a PS4 I completely agree with you, and it would be a shame if they gave PS4 the Tekken 7 treatment. PC Tekken 7 looks leagues better than console. I will own a copy on both so there's no salt from me, but I hope when they get close to launch they polish console up to be atleast on par with okay Computers
