Why not? She's a highly skilled ninja that kills when she has to and in revenge. She killed an entire squad of ninja (people from her own village I'm assuming) her brother sent after her.

Because from what we've seen in DOA, she's not as brutal as ayane or ryu or Rachel. I just really picture her going all Texas chainsaw like she does in ng. I feel like she would have much cleaner kills, with little dismemberment. More ninja like.

If you play Razor's Edge you'll find that Kasumi's OTs are just as brutal as Ayane's or Ryu's, and much more so than Rachel's in Sigma 2 were.

But this isn't a Ninja Gaiden discussion, so back on topic.

You have to think that Ninja Gaiden is a brutal game as itself, and DOA is normal fighting game with no blood at all. Of course Kasumi and any other character needs to be brutal in NG because the game is designed that way.

Fuuuuuuck.... might have to buy this now. I like how they paired up Alpha and Nyotengu as bosses, maybe they'll get a tag throw. And I REALLY like how there's a new character underneath. If that's the boss row I'm hoping Genra was revived

I don't see anything totally new except the DOA3 style lifebars... Load times seems improved though.

Isn't that just Nyo's down hair?

Anyway, new lifebar color is ugly. Not seeing any new moves, tech, arenas, intros, outros or... well, anything, really.

So far it's looking like 5U with a new lifebar.
