I won't drop Mai, she's my #4. She's basically a mix of kasumi and Momiji to me so no I won't drop her XD

I thought you said you used everyone tho Brad XD I don't think you've truly ever dropped anyone right?
I may replace Phase with her since I don't use her online much anymore, so it'll be Kasumi, Naotora, and Mai, but I'll have to see, I'll probably just add her to Team Kasumilover which already has 5 characters. I probably won't be on FSD the day she drops.

It's gonna happen. And, I'm going to laugh when it does. Me being a KOF player, I won't be able to afford to drop this character. In the past, I actually jokes about Mai being in DOA... but, um... Stuff happened. Great stuff.

I use everyone for fun, but my mains from 5U were: Kasumi and ayane (when I still had Corefighters)
When i had full game: it was Kasumi Ayane Momiji and Rachel.
When Phase was released it was: Kasumi Ayane Momiji and phase 4
When nyo was released it was: Kasumi Phase 4 Momiji and Nyo
When Last round came out it was: Kasumi Raidou and Phase 4
After a month after LR was released it was: Kasumi Momiji Raidou and I decided that they were my definite mains, I had sub mains though. But not now anymore.
So you can basically say that I dropped Rachel Ayane Phase Nyo and Momiji. I never dropped Kasumi and Raidou.

Lowkey refreshing Youtube and Twitter for that first arcade Mai gameplay XD And actually waiting and being hype for her has actually made me even more interested in her KOFXIV counterpart, I've been playing her quite a bit in the demo since I think I finally got the cancel and defensive mechanics down.

According to Dualshockers on the Famitsu page, Mai is being released on the 13th of September...

She releases on a Tuesday....nice.
9/11 is on a Sunday, however I'm sure PSN will likely provide the content on a Monday (just for that week). Likely in the night for NA. They did it last year in a similar way.
Though for Mai I am not sure, they may put her out on Monday but the content will say "Unavailable" until Tuesday. Who knows really.

As suspected. And, this news is god tier.
If people drop her, it'll be because they don't really know what to look for in terms of her play or they're just flat out impatient. People who's played & understands both DOA & KOF (or even Fatal Fury) will know exactly how to approach her. The others who haven't, they'll have a hard time starting out, but if they stick with it & play with the right people, they'll be fine. It'll take time. That's what people need to understand, even with Naotora. People really gave her no time to really flesh her out. Some of them dropped her within hours even seconds. Not saying that they would've been singing another tune, but I am saying that people should give themselves more time & stop being impatient. Fighting games are a commitment. lol.
