I like how TN says "totally never did this before" and a slightly older girl and girl with a dick is what the DOA players seems to hope for.

I NEED GENRA TT-TT or i want a BF for kasumi and if that isnt possible then i want a character with aikido as fighting style or wushu
Did I miss something? (Haven't really followed this thread/news about the new character). Did TN really say, that the new character will go in a new direction? That's interesting...
They said in a recent interview that it wouldn't be like anything they did before. that doesn't nescassarily mean it will be a completley new character though it just seems more likley.

I think everyone just has low expectations, and were limiting our imagination to obscure anime tropes. I would be surprised if TN manages to think outside of the box completely.

If you are going to be so rude and critical to others ideas and speculations, why don't you throw out some ideas?
Because my attention span is short and I have a bad habit of mentally developing characters to the point where it will just lead to disapointment because I know they won't be created.
Black Spider ninja that is a grappler and uses self damaging attacks.
Powerful Magic user that uses her abilities reguraly in battle as opposed to being regulated to power lows
Badass anti-ninja combat drone deseigned to fight against the ninjas and is able to perform moves physically impossible for the other characters.
Greater Fiemd that floats slightly off the ground and uses demon magic
well groomed gentleman that fights with brutal dance moves, when he dips you he slams your skull into the ground.
Well aged soldeir that is so experienced that his fight stance is him with hands behind his back , taunts constantly, and and is just an overall dick.

The funny thing is it can theoretically be old ladies, traps, or 'badass' characters at this point. That is how vague TN was about describing the character. It was an answer that really wasn't an answer so it will buy them time until they actually start some legitimate teasing. It still opens up to speculation, but by no means it effectively starts narrowing down ideas. We are still at square one of not knowing anything substantial since the reveal at festival.

Not speaking for anyone else but this definitely applies to me. My standards and ideas for the new character aren't high because I guess you could say I don't have much faith In TN making a three dimensional character.

Yeah I'm not as hyped as I used to be when a new character came out. I wonder if they'll surprise us...
Honestly, after characters like Honoka, and a twentieth Kasumi clone (kind of an exaggeration, but you get the point on how boring as hell this is), I don't think anyone has a huge amount of faith in TNs new character haha
