DOA5LR New character expectations (Spring 2016)

There's no reason for another Kasumi clone, Kasumi Alpha is pretty much Phase 4 now, I'm hoping its original or a guest.

But after this character I don't want any new characters until DOA6, TN are already running out of ideas.

This is KT we're talking about here. 14 year-olds and clones are their best friends, because they get Benjamin Franklins xD

I wouldn't particualry want another MR [great we got at least one petite character for once to spice up the roster] but I don't want another big titty character either especially after we just got Honoka who is the largest of the bunch. Would be fine if it's something between MR and the typical female DoA

Reading your post made me realize they went from one extreme to the other.

Marie Rose who is a flat loli to Honoka who is a super curvy "cow titted" larger than the rest, Japanese highschool girl.

I'm not sure why i didn't realize they made 2 characters who are opposite ends of the spectrum but nevermind, i have now seen the light and it is......

Okay, could have been better but not the worst thing to come out of Basketball in the past few years.

Every DLC character has been a girl because TN knows they can make way more money with fanservicey dlcs, adding a male character reduces the number of such dlc. Also, given the fact that said new character will have a costume pack, it's pretty much guaranteed that said costumes will be fanservicey meaning it WILL be a girl.

The fact that DOAX3 is releasing has nothing to do with it, after all, they had to limit the doax3 cast further supports that.

Um DOAX3 has a lot to do with this. Most of the new female characters in DOA5LR has made it in DOAX3. Your saying they will release a new female character, we possibly will fall in love with this new character and not make any impact on DOAx3? Marie Rose and Honoko both should be evidence of my thought. And the fact the new character comes with the season pass and has not been announced a single purchase. That way it will help it sell better since it will be a guy character

Seeing how long it took and is taking to make the new character compared to the past newbies, what if it's not just 1? What if it's two and they were twins?

I'm sure there will be more then just one more dlc character anyway, and twins haven't been done in DOA before (no Kasumi/Phase 4 and Hayate/Ein don't count) so it could happen.

mechanically it would be a bit difficult since tag mechanics have been shown to be a burden on the system as shown by the limited stages and how it used to lock up the system if you tagged out on a electric wall hit

Tell me what that 5 outfit debut set is then. Y'know like the ones Marie, Phase 4, Nyotengu, and Honoka got. That Raidou didn't get.

You honestly believe that the new character will NOT be sold separately? Seriously? EVERY DLC from the season passes have been available individually from the start.

And honestly, what makes you think a MALE character will sell better than a FEMALE character? This is DOA we're talking about, the idea that a guy being more popular than a girl is absurd, ryu is the ONLY exception.

Not only that, but look at the previous dlc packs, MAJORITY of them are female exclusive, adding another girl to the roster only increases the amount of sales for future dlcs since they have even more girls in.
