If Momiji's style is truly a Hayabusa style Aiki variant, then that leaves Miyako (if planned to be playable) with probably Judo.

All the DLC they paid for is going to end up in ultimate.

It's fucked up but at the same time if you we're buying all those bikini packs instead of just watching internet porn then you're fucked up too.

None of those costume packs, and I bought two, we're worth the money.

Yeas, I know. I don't approve of that aspect of the new release, but did anyone expect it to happen another way? It's just like games that get the infamous "Game of the Year" editions or something like that. It just hurts us a little more because our DLC was sloppy, ungodly priced costumes that no one really liked.

The DLC costume packs are a joke.
The individuals that were smart enough not to support palette swaps and character costume swaps will most likely be rewarded with it all in the new DOA edition.

Momijis animations probably aren't even finished yet, that's why she looks stiff. Her shoho has a really strange animation currently for example that I'm sure will be changed.

I also hope they add something similar to TTT2's "Tag crush" just in case for those super long tag combos. Limited usage of course.


I was JUST thinking this... I was playing tag online and swear it went 30hit combo

Makes more sense logically than to just seperate mids, but it would only work out if it couldn't be done out of deep stuns.

System becomes more coherent and learning combos becomes more streamlined.

You CANNOT have all mids being held with the same command like in DOA2-3 because all characters have like 70%+ moves being mids. Some of them have so many it's ridiculous (Fu, Hele). If DOA were like Virtua where the three heights have around the same quantity of strikes then we could POSSIBLY speak of a 3-way hold system. But with the move lists as they are, definitely not.

Besides, we have to put up with a shitty stun system that allows everyone to hold while in most stuns. Going back to a 3-way hold system would simply mean going back to the fiasco that was DOA Dimensions. No thanks.

I don´t think they will include the DLC costumes that where released in the past couple of months as free unlockable content in the new DOA. They will most likely make it possible for people who bought the DLC to be able to use it in DOA5U and those who didn't buy the DLC will continue not being able to use them. However i really hope they make it so the people who haven't bought the DLC will be able to see them though.
At least this would be the most logical as well as the most fair way to do it. Fucked up would be the case in which they decide to re-release the current DLC that is available for DOA5, for DOA5U and make everybody pay for them again. I would consider the later as a big FU to their fans and would stop supporting them immediately but i don't think they would do that.

I'm pretty sure the DLC costumes will be available in Ultimate by default. And then they'll just keep releasing palette swaps and more bikinis as DLC for it.

Can anyone get a hold of an early build and hack it to leak the roster like with vanilla¿ I really want to know about Ein's status.

She was Zordon's nursemaid, and for the sake of censorship, replaced "Ai-yi-yi-yi-yi" with "Shh-shh-shh-shh-shh" in an attempt to reduce the annoyance level for the easily irate.

Now that I remember, Leon had a pretty awesome tag throw animation with Busa in DOA2U that for some reason, was missing in DOA4 and Dimensions. I really hope they get it back.

Granted, Ayame was raped by Raidou, but that doesn't mean that she has no fighting skills, either. Remember that Raidou is the evil, yet skilled son of a bitch who defeated nearly the entire Mugen Tenshin Clan, single-handedly, In addition to taking out many of the lesser ninjas, he KOed Ayane and paralyzed Hayate, damn near killing him. So Ayame may very well have fought admirbly against Raidou, before he sexually assaulted her.

None the less, their characters don't come across to me as fighters.

They simply don't fit the archetype.

Irene has a long history of playing the victim. Ayame has no relevance to the story whatsoever anymore, and her role has always been to sit around and do nothing in the village. Miyako would be the only wild card, and she has virtually no character development to begin with. It would be pretty sudden.

I simply would like to play with new characters for which I feel sympathy for them, just this - also if I would prefer before to play again with the old glories of the past,so for example Raidou and Genra: when become characters with new styles and movesets, they will contribute automatically to the game. If you were talking about their role in the story, TN will find surely a way to integrate them, just like I think will do for Momiji, Leon, ecc... in the story of Doa5U.

In addition, like already said by Dutch Samurai, Irene is a CIA agent and Ayame a shinobi, so each of them knows very likely how to fight.

Changing argument I quote TRI Mike: for some reasons Leon had a cut of that awesome tag move (just like his intro/ending tag with Bayman in Doa3 cut in all the other games), that I would like to see again in DoA5U! :)

Well that move is still in the game, its just that its Bayman and Hayabusa now, instead of leon. Leons :3::3::h::+::P: Changed to the mount, so he lost that leg grab as far as I remember
