Sup , I am Conun... I've been here for about a week or two but I didn't introduce myself.

I play fighting games:cool:(story of my life.)

I played DOA4 and that peaked my interest to get the other games in the series and since then , I've been one of the biggest DOA fans.

I mained Ein but unfortunately Ein isn't gonna be in DOA5 or have a future in the series.

People liked to say that Hitomi is better but Ein was more powerful and did the job of getting things done a whole lot quicker.

I am a person that you would see online a lot and hope to play to play against you all on PSN.(I have my launch 360 that still works but collecting dust because I can't be bothered to pay for Xbox live.)

I'd make my appearance in real life to the fighting game community but I don't have what it takes to travel nor do I see fighting game tournaments in the state that I live in.:((Why couldn't I be born somewhere else or have rich family.)

Though someone could always give me the hook up.:rolleyes:jk(maybe) but one day , I hope that I can be someone in the fighting game community and not watching streams or hearing about it on sites.(:oops:wouldn't mind playing role of sidekick or follower though.)

You live in orlando..Its ALOT of tournys in your area bro

Well im bored out of my mind right now so I guess ill finally formally introduce myself here.

I was known as Dr Sexual within the community until after years of having that gamertag MS forced me to change it. My tag now is Paul v4 (I need something more memorable for my DOA5 career at some point though lol).

I main Jann Lee and Ein and wrote up a couple of pretty well received strat guides back in the day on DOAC. I also have a couple of terrible combo vids and match videos on youtube.

I was the 2006 WCG bronze medalist and have played and competed with many of the greatest players of all time in offline competition to include the "big 3" (Master, Mamba, PL). As well as having just competed in a decent few offline events as well.

For years I was considered one of if not the best pure tag players in the game along with Highguy and a few others. Unfortunately tag was never included in tournaments so there's no real way to confirm this. Although after years of online debate I was eventually able to finally meet up with Highguy in an offline event to determine who was the truly the best. The matchup can be seen here.

It was close but I lost by 1 match at the end. I just find it cool that we were able to get that match in. And goes to show why I enjoy the DOA community so much. It just feels so much more tight knit and easier to really develop friendly rivalries than most gaming communities.

I currently live in South Korea but will be moving to the London area in January so most of my DOA5 time will be based out of the UK.

I'd love to potentially play competitively again and that will be my goal but it will be an uphill struggle as I recently broke my arm and in the process damaged the nerve that controls my wrist and fingers. So I now have no extension capability of my thumb or fingers basically. For instance I can press a button but not lift my thumb to hit the next one without the help of a special orthopedic brace. It sucks but I can still play at a very basic level using my brace. It should recover over the course of the next few months to years but at best will only ever be 90% according to my surgeons.

Anyway yeah. Thats my story.

Hey everyone! New to FSD, but old to Doa. Got started on Doa2 during the Dreamcast era, but I'm really out of practice. I haven't play hard since Doa3 and DoaU. I hope to get acclimated with the game again. Glad to see that Doa has its own VFDC, 8wayrun-esque looking site. I looking forward to learning from everyone and doing what I can to help the community and my fighting scene.

Very excited for this next chapter of Doa. Lets get this community strong!

Hi everyone. You can call me Mai. I've been playing the DOA series of games since playing DOA1 at a run down arcade in the Bay Area CA. I own most if not all the DOA games.Even the DOAXVB games. I played DOAU and DOA4 online and offline during the the good ol days when the community was active. Really haven't won anything major. Just play for the love of the game.

Hello everyone
I never played a doa game before and I never knew it was a fighting game because the only doa I saw was paradise so I never checked out the title. I found doa5 while browsing through new upcomming games and it's gameplay seems fun, fast, and different from most fighters. I'm really looking foward to having a good time with the game and this site.(So far the only game franchise I like is soulcalibur) :)

'Ello, community.

I've been on and off lurking the contents of this forum for a very long time now, and always put off actually registering an account. With DOA5 around the corner and wanting to get back into the series now I've finished my degree, thought I'd finally sign up seeing as this seems to the best DOA site around. Thankfully DOA5 looks to be a massive improvement over it's predecessor and seems like it'll be a great deal of fun to play. Hopefully with some of the tricks I can learn from the site come release to up my game, I might even get stuck into some tournaments if any end up running locally to me in London.

So uh, yeah. Looking forward to it.
