Back from Summer Jam! I decided to join after meeting so many cool people there, bringing lots of energy and hype to the game. The matches I saw even had me excited (LETS GO WHITE GUY!)
My main game will always be Soul Calibur, but I respect the DoA community and the support they showed at Summer Jam for the new game. I also appreciated the number of players that entered the Soul Calibur 5 tournament (which ended up being won by Black Mamba!).
I'm a big fan of 3D fighters and I'll continue to support the community and the games as much as I can.
Hopefully I can get the hang of this crazy game ^^;;

I'm so jelly =) Meeting Sorwah, Black Mamba, Rikuto, Mystik and the other series big names sounds like a lot of fun. I hope you stick around and the community grows on you some more, Omega.

Hey, I'm RaidrX, I've been playing casually since I picked up DOA3/2U on xbox. I also play Soul Calibur, and recently picked up Street Fighter 4AE as well (after watching Evo for the first time). Never really played fighters competitively, always been more of an FPS player, but I'm pretty hyped about DOA5 and getting into the competitive scene.
Didn't see this thread. I'm Brute. I've been playing DOA ever since DOA2 came out for the Dreamcast.
I main Hayabusa, Ayane, Kasumi and Leon, though I'm probably "best" (can win most easily) as Hayate.
Have the collector's edition pre-ordered for the PS3, and am slaving through everyday till DOA5 is released. I've been playing the demo endlessly.
I guess I'd say I'm mid-tier. Not one of the greatest as I play horribly with lag, and a lot of the jargon is unknown to me. However, I do play a lot with all the characters (some more than others) and have a pretty good feel for how to play (usually get 3 wins to every loss against the AI on the hardest difficulty in Versus).

I know, but my Xbox live subscription ran out and I had no one to play with. D:
I was complaining about lag on the xbox 360. PSN has yet to feature any DOA game, to the extent of my knowledge.

Funny, I almost never lag on PSN and my only real complaint is it won't ever let me add funds to my wallet, which is pretty fucking annoying. Welcome Brute, OmegaXCN, Sakura, and anyone else I missed.
