Yeah, I'm not so sure about the story thing. But they should be playable for other modes.

Guys I don't think that the mini capture of Hayate was just a plot device to have a reason to call Kasumi in the end of the game. Lisa said also something like that someone was starting again the project Epsilon... I really think that we will see a clone of Hayate (probably using Karate) in the next game for the joy of the fans of Ein (and Hitomi 
).
Not that this is the main reason to bring back Ein to the roster, I'm just saying that I think that a "new Ein" will be involved also in the game plot.

That's actually a great idea.
Hitomi would have a pillow, Lisa would have a pet. Everyone would be happy to see his costumes back.
In fact, they should get rid of Alpha-152 and make Ein the main vilain/boss in the serie and keep him forever. Rig would be his "master".

The only problem would be that Hayate would become even mooore boring, but eh... Ein's costumes are more important.

Gonna go into Ein fanboy mode for a minute but if we were to get him as DLC I imagine we'd only get like 3-4 costumes so I think we should get these.
C1:(DOA2 C1: Signature Ein and it was criminal to omit it in DOA4.)
C2:(DOA2 C5: Standard Ein Karate Gi. DOA4 lacked the wrist wraps though, they make the outfit look much cooler.)
C3:(DOA4 C2: The only good outfit he had in DOA4 but a pretty good look. You get the classic feel from the other outfits and the more modern DOA4 look from this, mandatory imo.)
C4:(DOA2U C7: Super Ein!! Would be the most surprising choice but this just has to make a comeback. Even if I like Ein's DOA2U C6 and C2 more.)
His DOA2 C2 and C6 would also be awesome but we now how TN hates male characters so we'd be lucky to get these. Oh and that shirtless outfit with the chains and red pants can burn in a fire, and so can that horrible disco outfit. Seriously worst outfits ever and they both came back in DOA4.
This outfit? Because it's actually one of my favorites of Eins. I never thought of it as a disco suit, more like a formal outfit.

Disco suit is nice (it matched Helena's yellow disco shirt/purple pants), but I prefer the legendary red trousers, you know, for the abs.

I think that his disco suit was my less favourite of Ein's costume, anyway I used it always in the Disco stage, especially in Doa4 XD
But Kwon more that with Helene's one, it really matched almost perfectly with Brad Wong's C1 (sadly I don't think that they had personal tag throws):

If they have Alpha take her leave from story mode, she better still be playable elsewhere. We don't need to be cutting more characters.

Because that appears to actually be in Kasumi's catalogue, not Tina's. Some of the promo images for DOAX2 had the girls swapping outfits. I also don't see Ayane's new swimsuit in Christie's catalogue.

These outfits are from the DLC pack of swimsuit that will be out with Doa5+ (and probably will arrive on Xbox later).
Until now we have seen the swimsuits of this pack for Kasumi, Ayane, Hitomi (from the first Doa5+ trailer) and now also of Mila and Lei-Fang.

There's Dead Or Alive. Yaknow, the tournament the game is about. And everyone involved in it.
Then the ninjas and the others doing their own thing off to the side, not really relevant to Dead or Alive.
