No scythe.
I know what I have to do but I get bored and, therefore, I lost attention and got killed with just a hit. I get there with so little life and without chances of increasing it because right before facing T-Rex something happens that scapes my comprenhension. I need to pay more attention to that part.

This wasn't a cry for help, just needed to "throw it out of my body" but thank you anyway ^__^

well i wanted to get it over with quickly in one sitting thats why , took me like 3 hours so it wasn't to bad

Watching your vid now but my boosting partners and I got a bunch of things last night. We all got at least one betrayal, I got four BR and one Leader Kill, and another guy got three Leader Kills. We only boosted for a couple of hours, too.

lucky, im in at 4 hours total and still stuck at 2 betrayals, I got 0 betrays in that 4 hours >.>

None of us are level 99 and we got ALL of them on the Submarine base. Three people, the team with two took turns killing the person on his own and grabbed all the scarabs. It's still pretty random but that's what we did. We were getting one betrayal about every three rounds.

Betrayal is the only thing holding me back from the plat, such a pain in the ass

You got got one betrayal though. I dont have any betrayals because the thing never pops up. Team ninja needs to patch this so it will pop up more often. I can honestly say when 95% are just trying to do the betrayals which can take days if not weeks or months just to get the platinum is sad on team ninjas half of programing or the director of team ninja is an ass whole. Patch this team ninja so people can go on with their lives. If anyone knows how to get the betrayals to show up more often the info would be most appreciated.

There is a guy named Longchamp who has the platinum and he got it in under a month of the game being released. He does not speak English very well but if anyone knows Japanese ask him and translate it and tell us. Because I have no idea how he could have done that so fast.

Somethings happening to me on Day 6 - Ayane on Chapter Challenge. I'm trying it with Busa and I'm at the boss, the three purple ugly things but when I catch them with a SoB all Busa does is take their arms with ZERO damage. Ayane didn't do this. What's wrong¿

Ryu will do the same shit with the gorilla-fiends a lot as well, especially with certain weapons. Why? Because in general the game is un-polished as hell and many (/most?) attacks don't work like they should, or work inconsistently. Something about finnicky hit detection. In general, Ayane has a more reliable SoB than Ryu which is probably why you didn't encounter it until now. Try switching weapons with Ryu, and see if that helps. Certain one work better than others.

I had to switch to the Dual Katanas for de SoB to work. It wasn't damaging them at all with the Dragon Sword.

EDIT: BTW the sword-wielding alchemist are the most ridiculous enemy in the game. I just can't find a strategy to dispose of them reliably. I always have to pray for luck.

EDIT 2: OK I definitely need help with these fuckers. I'm tired of dying dozens of times every time I encounter them. It's not fun anymore.

I find the Kusari-Gama works best against the black alchemists.

Alternatively, I believe you can spam 360 Y/Triangle with the Scythe.

Normal X/Square combos with the Scythe seem to work but they're pretty retarded still. I'm now stuck on the fight against the six purple thingies on the last chapter, just before the Theodore fight. I had to turn off the Xbox.

If you have the True Inferno (Dragon ninpo) chuck that out. Sometimes it kills two. Usually 1 (on Normal it kills 3).

You can probably turtle back and let the Regent take 'em, but that would probably take a couple years. I find it's best to just stick with dodges and SoB.

If you can get the Regent to distract the gorilla-arms one, great, but he's usually a twit and attacks the snake one.
