Man I think scythe is too OP LOL

Genshin is half HP and Fiend Genshin is full hp, down them both in 10 seconds

even with 1 person it does insane damage

Didn't actually know you could do Cliff pt. 1 with the bow (though I have trouble imagining a boss easier than Doku or regular Genshin). I did start using the Kusari-gama's Jump YXY on the Regent later in the game when I discovered how powerful it was, but it didn't occur to me it would work on Fiend Ryu as well ('cause I'm an idiot, obviously). Didn't know there was a section of the Canna platform where you couldn't be hit, either. That should makes things substantially easier, haha.

Where in the Canna fight are you invulnerable? I'm already getting nervous about that on MN..

EDIT: Nevermind, just read the previous posts. I managed to beat Hard with the katana, and can't wait to try out other weapons. Momiji is so fucking fun.

I still haven't tried Momiji yet lol. I'm on a mission to beat MN tonight or tomorrow (at the first save of Day 6 at the moment) and I'm pretty one-track-minded. I'm coming up with a lot of "Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge - Master Ninja Mode for Dummies" stuff haha. Most of you guys here won't need it but some of it, like my strat for the Gigantosaurus I mentioned before, is just plain humorous.

lol yeah. I've been loving her. Having trouble soloing some of the Mentor trials with her for her final costume, though. If you ever want to grind 'em out, just let me know.

God I really don't wanna do MN & UN story, it's so boring the 2 & 3 time around :/

But I must have the trophy XD

They mix it up quite a bit with enemies on MN. I've been surprised a few times now, though not always in a fun way. There are a couple times where I'm just going "Really...?" and shaking my head at the design choices. Still, I'm not feeling burned out despite being close to beating the game for the third time in as many days.

I'd love to play with any of you guys, but I still haven't touched Trials yet.
They're very fun in this one. Much better than NGS2's, imo.
All 25 Acolyte ones can be done easily solo. Most of the Mentor ones can be as well (there's 25 of those).
Then there's 20 leader, 20 Master Ninja, and 10 Ultimate Ninja ones, but I haven't tried any of those yet.

Here's a taste of UN

UN5:
Fiend ryu's
Fiend genshins
Zedinouses
Elzibeth's
Alexi's
Volf's
Genshin
Multiple Scythe fiends, the big one

And you have to fight them together like
Zed & Fiend genshin
Alexi, Elzibeth & Spiders
Etc

Notice the plurals hehe :p

I'll be doing homework off-and-on tonight, so if I don't respond, either let me know here, wait a bit, or just conclude that I'll be out for the night. xD

Oh I probably won't be able to play online till next week because my internet is randomly turning on and off for some reason. And I'm not very good at this game despite my undying love for the series. I'm just persistent enough to keep playing until I beat MN in each release lol.

I dunno why team ninja are so bad with programming Marbus when there is 2 players

Guy goes nuts and leaves the map sometimes for like 2 minutes and comes back like nothing happened lol

I tell ya, I'm getting really sick of Marbus' shit. The camera always wants to be the fucking hubble telescope, staring directly into the sky. Meanwhile on planet Earth, Mabus is apparently kicking the shit out of me as I can infer from my life bar being depleted. Hate that SOB.

Marbus was annoying in the test of valor but I haven't fought him in Trials yet.

On another note, I found a OHKO on Nightmare Hayabusa (the second form; NG3 costume bonus one). I wanted to finish up for the night and decided that Day 6 would be it so I could close it out tomorrow. Then this bastard kept getting around my Lunar attacks and killing me in one shot with an Izuna of his own. So I launched True Inferno immediately upon the start of the fight and he just instantly died and went to the QTE lol. The health went down so fast the game had to fill up his lifebar some more just to make the QTE happen. If you guys want to test, let me know the results. I'm curious what effect this would have on other bosses as well. Keep in mind I'm doing it immediately upon getting control of Ryu, as in while the enemy is just sitting there for a second. That might be what's going on.

Yup and his falcon dive always glitches lol

He's real easy in trials Cyber

360T sythe hits take half his HP when he falcon dives

I tried True Inferno and it don't insta kill any boss except the one you stated, I wish it did :)

I wanna go beat MN by morning but my eyes are all red from doing trials I don't think it's a good idea lmao

Well to be clear, it also won't kill him instantly if you use it during the fight, which was what I was doing to regain health. It does a decent amount of damage, maybe 1/6 or so, but it won't kill. When I did it at the start of the fight, I think the dragon actually grabbed him like a normal enemy an that's why he died. During the fight you can hear them dodge a bit, so the AI is likely just dodging around to limit the damage they take. It likely also won't work in trials for obvious reasons, but it definitely did the trick for me in the campaign.

I did the same thing against the three pseudo-goddeses (with the flailing limbs) that you fight just before the final Regent Encounter pre-Canna. Killed them all instantly as well.
I figured it worked because they weren't "full bosses," but maybe the reasoning was closer to what you stated.

You only fought three? You must have been playing on Normal then. It's 6 on Hard. Hopefully it stays at 6 because more would be overkill. True Inferno is pretty powerful though and it's much easier to appreciate it now that it's the "Ultimate" Ninpo.
