I'm not exactly that interested in unlocking Kasumi other than for the hell of it but I do want to improve so I'm going to be doing that for now.

Just a random side question that maybe you guys have talked about in the past 49 pages: What do you guys think about the dual katanas style? Do you them to be effective, maybe more effective than the other weapons offered? And would they be sufficient for S-Rank playthroughs?

Ayane is the way to go for S-rank playthroughs, she makes ryu's chapter a breeze

As for dual katana's they are better except for the fact they removed the Foward T move which was in NG2, was one of the best moves that weapon had

Dual Katana's will be fine to get S rank because the only way to get S rank is to spam SoB lol

CyberEvil, the answer to your question to unlocking kasumi. You need to get an S rank for both days in chapter challenge on all difficulties to unlock her.

yeah fuck that,i can play on the hardest difficulties but im nowhere near an ace at this or any NG game.thank you TN for practically locking out content to part of your fanbase

Can you confirm you don't need Ryu? That's what I thought but there are conflicting reports and I still have an hour left at work. Good shit on getting it done though.

Wasn't too bad took me like 40 minutes, Ayane made Ryu's chapter super easy

You don't need ryu because I didn't use ryu at all for chapter challenge

Looks like kasumi has more upgrades than ryu/ayane

Kasumi is supposedly completely broken, too. She can get out of the level with her teleport counter on the Wii U version.

Tips for anyone who is going after kasumi

The fastest method to go through each difficulty is to use Ayane's Square Square Triangle move to delimb, have to do it about 1-2 times depending on difficulty and including luck

Then lure the delimbed enemy to a big crowd, wait till he tries to grab you and SoB

Just keep repeating this

On gamefaqs someone stated it has to be with Ayane, I myself haven't done it with ryu so don't know 100%

See now that changes things a bit. I might mix it up in that case just to avoid getting bored. SoB chaining ad nauseum will do that to ya.

No. Just beat Normal, then Hard, then Master Ninja, and then you'll have all of the Chapter Challenge opened up.

Im actually have more fun playing this than NGS2

guess it has to do with the gore or that I just wore off NGS2

I use UTs and OTs for nearly every kill. Is it that necessary to use the stupid SoB thing?

Yeah. SoB gives a score modifier everytime you pull one off. If I remember correctly the max amount goes up to a X3 multiplier.

Yup only SoB if you want S rank

For the alchemists part it doesn't matter how long you take, just spam UT with them
