I'll buy the game again with the Razor Edge improvements. I'm considering a Wii U so may get it anyway.

I think we can expect something similar for DOA in 2013 given the way TN is happy to iterate in NG and we know they are working on a patch, there has to be further commercial benefit to that work.

Kasumi from the Dead or Alive series will be joining Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge as a playable character.

Team Ninja head, Yosuke Hayashi, announced during a Nintendo Direct presentation this morning that Kasumi will be added to Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge as a free downloadable character in the near future.

Well it's about time! I remember seeing Kasumi in the NGS2 ending but I thought Itagaki getting the boot would the the end of that.

Also did anybody else call her using that black outfit in NG? I knew she would. Also shout outs to the "pure and sweet Kasumi" chopping people into peices. I wonder if she'll still be so sweet shaking blood off that sword, can't wait to see it.

This game is really good. It's not NG2/S2 levels of good, but it's a huge leap over the vanilla version. I'm really enjoying it.

I capped about 20 minutes of me playing. Sorry there's no sound. I was playing off my gamepad while watching Dark Knight. BAAAAAAAAAAAAANE

I'll be capping more stuff later. If anybody has something particular they want to see, I'll try to get it.

Quite the opposite, actually. Itagaki was the one who said that Kasumi doesn't belong in Ninja Gaiden because of her sweet personality. Wouldn't be surprised if the reason she made it into Sigma 2 was because Itagaki couldn't object.

Anyway, in regards to the Kasumi thing, I guess it's good news. I'm still very pissed at Team Ninja for screwing over its loyal customers with better releases of the games we already bought that we can't have because they're console exclusive. First it was PS3. Then 3DS. Now PS Vita. Is this shit gonna end?

I'm not sure if Hayashi is an economic genius or a sadistic asshole.

As brutally excited as I am for this news, I can't help but think that Itagaki is probably pissed to high heck about Kasumi slicing and dicing hordes of bloody flesh and bone since it's so out of character for her. Who knows? Her inclusion is most likely non-cannon. But then again, I won't be surprised if Team Ninja decides to retcon that personality trait on a whim just so they can get more moolah.

In Doa5, also if keeping a sweet side, Kasumi is more resolute than ever before. Considering how her personality was developed in that game, I think that can work also for a Ninga Gaiden game.

So, Ninga Gaiden Sigma 2 + gets blood and gore back.

I really think Team Ninja is making a deliberate effort to piss off all of their previous customers. I can't fathom any other reason for their dedication to these re-release exclusives.

I'm all about NGS2+ but I refuse to buy a Wii U. I've played RE and been less than impressed.
