I'm going to say upfront that I only played on Normal when I played the game, as opposed to having played vanilla NG3 through to completion on everything up through and including Master Ninja. That having been said, I did NOT notice the enemies being more aggressive than they were before. I don't exactly sit still, though, so maybe they just didn't have a chance. Normal difficulty you can just steamroll if you're a franchise veteran. For people who have played RE, has the AI been tweaked from vanilla? I've heard mixed responses regarding the AI for the WiiU version.
Cool thanks. I'll be getting this mostly for the missions and whatnot since I heard so many great things about the actual story mode.I'm going to say upfront that I only played on Normal when I played the game, as opposed to having played vanilla NG3 through to completion on everything up through and including Master Ninja. I will admit I liked the ability to purchase abilities and such. That was an improvement. That being said, some of the abilities you have to purchase should have been available from the get-go lol. I'll be picking this up, despite my misgivings about having to pay for the version of the game we should have gotten initially. I realize that a lot of this has to do with back-door politics and money, and I'm not going to fault either Team NINJA directly or Tecmo Koei. It is what it is and I love the Ninja Gaiden franchise too much to not give it another shot.Overall the A.I. is smarter it could and probably will get tweaked (cuz during ninja trials boss character would be dumbfounded at times), the new karma system lets you buy and upgrade everything at your will. Some people might prefer the "old way" but overall the game is A LOT more action/arcade coin-oppy, also with dismemberment they come after you like in NG2 plus chaining steel on bone with obliterations . . . :
Having never played the vanilla version, some of the aspects of the game did seem appealing like a few of the bosses and environments. Kasumi seems pretty fun as well. I wonder what they'll "add" to the inevitable Ninja Gaiden Sigma 3+/Razor's Edge+.. Hayate maybe?
Fuck Rachel. Kasumi FTWif they did they would have announced it.im still kinda bummed Rachel seems to have lost her spot to Kasumi no she wasnt perfect, but its not that hard to fix her.
Actually, I notice a lot of similar moves from Ryu in both his unarmed and sword fighting styles. For example, his DOA 8T, 214P, 6PK, H+KKK, 1H (low K hold), shoho izuna, 236P, etc. have all had variations appear in NG. I could See Hayate using some modified versions of his moves from DOA with a sword. There may be further DLC support for this version of RE. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Hayate, but my worry is that Ryu uses his sword and movelists in the NG universe are dependent on the weapon, not so much the character. Hayate would likely not be too much different than Hayabusa. Still, if it was pretty cheap (or better yet, free) I wouldn't complain about just having Hayate in the game as a model swap.
Honestly? No. They didn't show enough of anything to get excited, not to mention lack of platform confirmation.Yeah.. if Hayate's gonna be a palette swap for Hayabusa, they should just leave him out.
Slightly off-topic, but was anyone's interest piqued at all by that Yaiba tease a few months back?
I read somewhere that the game was being developed for current-gen consoles.. most likely PS360. Interesting concept nonetheless.. ninjas and zombies, but I don't know how I feel about the cel-shade art style.Honestly? No. They didn't show enough of anything to get excited, not to mention lack of platform confirmation.
^thisA zombie ninja that is killed by Busa and comes back to get revenge? The game will end with Hayabusa killing you again
