If I had to guess it won't work because Team NINJA usually doesn't allow shareable save files. Locked to profile. Also...that kinda defeats the purpose if everyone can get her before launch. Meant to be a special thing.

That Kasumi preorder costume is awesome. Make sure you guys get those preorders in when you can!

Personally I don't find it so great, it's a nice alternative for her, but I really like more the preorder outfits for Ayane and Hayabusa. On the contrary I find her new standard outfit beautiful and perfect for her entry in the more serious Ninja Gaiden world, but off course these are just my tastes
Sigh... I think that the same will be true for the normal Ninja Gaiden 3 save. I have to look for some people that could lend me its copy of NG3, just to have the save necessary for unlocking "Nightmare brought to life" when I will buy NG3:RE
You should be able to rent it from somewhere, no? Or, depending on the rules at the stores you have access to, you could go buy a used copy, make a save, then take it back and say it didn't work. Gamestop in the US allows you 7 days to return used games for a full refund.

For once we are head of the USA, who knew it would be with ninja gaiden preorders
So, is there any way to do "Mission-mode" type things solo, or has that been removed?
Also, if playing co-op, is Ayane replaced, the unknown ninja replaced, or are both left in along with you and your co-op partner?
Will RE have an "upload to YT" feature like DOA5? That would be awesome!
Except Ryu, apparently.
Without going back to fully read, you always only have two characters in co-op, user-controlled or not.
I believe that last bit was referring to SmartGlass functionality exclusively as I know you can look up vids through it. I do not know of any upload to YT feature in the game itself on either platform.
EDIT: Just got an update on the Gamestop US situation and it'll be happening but there's no exact date. Be patient and just keep checking the site every so often.

Lol, I didn't mean to downplay it. It's definitely the second weapon of choice on my list, especially in NG2Σ.Blasphemy. The True Dragon Sword has always been the coolest, most stylish and awesome weapon in the series!
On another note, I'm surprised no one called out the fact that Hayabusa's DLC costume is simply Hayate's shirtless DLC in DOA5, with a color swap. I might've expected recycling like that in DOA5 somewhere down the line... but I never saw it coming like that to the NG series. :/
Well, he technically also gets the mask and armor plate, so it's not a total reskin. =P
But yeah, that is kind-of annoying.
I really don't get what TN's aversion is to making the DOA Throwback costume when so many people keep asking for it.

Seriously man, I don't understand why either because you know a lot of people would buy it. On the bright side, as long as the Legendary Black Falcon remains in the game I'll always be content.
I'd also like to see Hayate get a black and gold (with white or black socks) color swap of his old 4th costume from DOA4, but that's a thought for DOA5 and for if Hayate ever made it into the NG series in the near future... which I would love.
For the record (so I know I didn't miss anything), there are 4 scarabs and no skulls in the demo, right?
I'm also curious as to how they do the single katana. For example, can you still use just Jinran-Maru after collecting the Blade of the Archfiend (that would be awesome)?
It would be really cool if in Ninja Trials they took away Ryu's corrupted arm, gave him his gauntlet back, and gave him the dragon sword for his single sword.
I do like the way you can choose to do either the Underworld drop or Izuna drop now depending on your input, rather than just replacing the Izuna.

Again, I think that its presence in sigma 2 + can give some hopes for its return in NG3:RE but overall in Doa5... Anyway I really love that shirtless preorder outfit.
Btw a completely unrelated question: someone could say me a valid strategy against the Vigoorian Berserkers of NG:B?
Dragon Sword, XYXY, dodge, rinse and repeat. It takes a while but they can't hit you out of the air except for with their little explosion from the sword.
Personally, I use the Vigoorian Flails. Because they block so fast after they are exposed, I like something fast to get in, with. Personally, I distance myself a bit, then dodge until the last attack in their string, at which point I roll into them (gotta love roll i-frames) and get some slashes in.
If you get to that arena after Doku... prepare to be there a while.
