To be fair, they DID state they wanted to polish up the game more to make sure it was high quality, so there is some benefit to this.Koei Tecmo delaying a game but forcing it to release before the end of march no matter what? Where have I seen that before...

So true, the bodies imo remind me of early Illusion soft games before they dropped the trend of making the girls super skinny and anime with busty chests but nothing else before they finally got into 2014 and started adding more thickness to the girls when they realized guys didn't just want boobs xDMy biggest problem is the bodies. They look like Ariana Grande after filming Wicked and you know what Ariana Grande looked like after filming Wicked? Like fucking Karen Carpenter a week before she died. The bodies look horrible. There is no fullness to them. The faces look fantastic, and the bodies are so bad it's painful.

I feel like since they went over to doa6 they've slowly been losing their touch with girls' body proportions, they should have used the DOA5-X3 proportions and just enhanced and improved on that since those were the best body models imo besides the lower textures. Now the girls look model skinny with just the boobs and barely the rears being much to offer some curvature. Maybe it's for the visual novel aesthetic tho but it does look strange the closer we get to release
I'll be honest....These images look a lot better than what we've seen previously. Bodies look a little more proportionate.
It almost feels like there are two different model types. I have seen them look really nice like with these pictures just shown today and then some dialogue box cut scenes look like what you suggest here.I'll be honest....
Between you and me, I'd be highly up to the idea of TN switching from Katana engine to the Unreal Engine 5 visuals we have with NG2B, body models and the minute details all imo pop out more. I like how Prism looks visually, even now from the shots, but idk, it's like there's something... soft core and almost intentionally not super detailed or super enthralling like Ninja Gaiden 2 black, almost like they're holding back on their full potential, but maybe it's just the game's different tones since NG is alot more serious than Prism is and I think they did that visually to keep both games in their own lane like the OG DOA vs Ninja gaiden back in the day
