I feel like either the game is falling off, or I'm just getting bored. I login almost every day, and the Steam version updates being soooo slow for no reason (at this point) wane on me a bit. They are making a lot of money on this game, Steam players are providing a lot of money, and I think Team NINJA should do a better job of giving people what they ask for. Not new new girls every update.
No, I'm not switching to DMM. I don't like that platform and see no reason of adding another ecosystem to my PC.
Also, I feel the writing has fallen off a cliff. I used to actually enjoy the scripts they came out with and sometimes there would be character development even when trying on new swimsuits. Now the newer scripts are just them describing the swimsuits which I can see with my plain eyes. Low effort on Team NINJA's part with the new character who basically looks like a hair recolored Shandy that drives a motorcycle (which would NEVER work on a fucking beach).
They also don't add any new activities. It's like how much money do we have to do dump on them to get what we want? It seems like the more money that is dumped the less effort is put in. The game also feels like it's been bare minimum on the sex appeal compared to Stellar Blade or even First Desecendant. They need to crank that up a notch, and it's not going to happen with girls like 'I'll Bill Ya', Luna and Fiona which are absurdly and almost annoyingly dainty.
Reika is the biggest win the game has had in a long while.
To be fair regarding Azusa's motorcycle, Xtreme 2 DID imply with the locations of the various suites that there were actual streets with New Zack Island, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were also streets on Venus Islands, so she might have used it for those. Besides, one of Hitomi's gravures had her riding a standard bike, anyway.
I'll continue playing the game until they add more of the mainline girls (ie, Mila, Rachel, Lisa, Christie, heck, even NiCO), and if they must insist on "new new girls", at least shorten the wait time between girls (oh, and make sure they're girls who, while technically appearing in past entries, were never playable initially. More specifically, I want NiCO to be playable).
We did at least get increased poses, an actual box for swimwear showing the count, and also girls leveling up on the beach if not playable, so we're at least GETTING something, and considering part of the reason that Dolphin Wave collaboration happened was to try and do a similar return of the Jetski minigame from Xtreme 2, I won't be surprised if they issue that out in the future.
I don't know who "I'll Bill Ya" is supposed to be. Meg? Shandy? And while I can see how Fiona could be described as such, I fail to see how Luna's all THAT daintly (she's more... eccentric I guess? She's more like Luna Lovegood or Lilo if anything).
I'll admit I haven't really gotten a chance to do translations, but that's more due to Pokemon GO, Pikmin Bloom, Pocket Camp Complete, Nintendo Today, and Mario Kart Tour eating at my time than anything else (that, and my job and various chiropractor appointments).
