It seems to me they are doing less and less with the game. No new mini games, no new OG characters and not even a new new character.

My guess is they are working on something new. Maybe VV2… hopefully not a new Prism. I genuinely disliked the story presented. It felt like some of lines were VV-esque and VV is free.

I'm only on steam and they added that beach flag game for one or two events so far... isn't that new?

Anyways, best update for me since I've been playing just happened recently.... Shandy's bar, lol. That's ironic for me since I'm someone who's annoyingly against glorification of alcohol in media... XD in fact, I was rolling my eyes and ignoring the addition for a few weeks then one day had some time to kill and decided to just check it out, happily surprised that Shandy only makes non-alcoholic drinks in this, lmao... (I guess in a way it took guts for them to go there... hmm, I wonder if they decided to do that because of the CERO or something?) and even more happy that it gives you tons of Venus Memory. Man, I honestly thought it would take literally forever for me to fill in even just Tina's Venus Board but now I'm boosting ahead so much I don't even mind that they expanded the board (actually, now I'm glad they did, but I haven't looked into how good the unlockables are in the new paths yet).

And yeah I had some laughs over the "crazy" comment too. Yeah, no Lisa (and the others) in a DOAX game for over 8 years is pretty crazy... "gameplay" so fun that the most requested QOL features are about making it easier to skip even more stuff to the point that the director worries it'll "simplify the gameplay" too much, watching girls play beach volleyball in full dresses and calling them "mizugi", I do find myself thinking the game is crazy... XD

I am honestly surprised VV is still going for this many years. There was just recently a study that found at least 70% of gacha games don't last past 3 years.

Ugh DOAN has a point that VV2 has a higher chance than DOAX4. Would it be PC exclusive though due to the gatcha system?

And no Beach Flags isn't "new" since that was from X2/X3.
They should bring back the water slide and marina races though at some point.
Idk where in the survey that could be requested. Though I don't have a VV number to do the survey.

It is true that they haven't released new characters or events as they used to.
I get tired that they just get recycled gravures from the original 9 X3 girls.

The new dresses and Nyotengu's Special Day outfits are quite nice though.

I was thinking more like "new to VV" but you have a point. And yeah I do worry that DOAX is a dead series now and that all future Xtreme games will be the Venus Vacation format. I'm guessing they actually see it as an evolution of the series rather than its own thing like Prism is. I wonder if they even know a lot of fans actually miss the format, gameplay and modes of DOAX 1-3 (well the first two at least). If only the "Stop Killing Games" movement succeeds one day and gets accepted universally, then they'd have to put in the time, money, and effort to rework VV's assets to bring back actual gameplay in order to make an offline version.

I noticed that even butt battle seems rare for events now. It's pretty much just a cycle of suikawari (watermelon), rock climbing, and pool hopping.

They had the right idea with Prism, but it wasn't the same quality as Venus Vacation or Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Prism 2 should be a complete visual representative of Venus Vacation or Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Let us explore the entire Zack Island with the girls if they want to do this route.

As limited as DOAX3 was I thought the visual of it was "sexier" by just a little bit than VV. If they make a VV2 I hope that only add some minor visual improvements. Don't go insane like with 2 Black. I didn't care for the blemish realism bit even if everything else was fine.
