TN think that we don't care for Male outfits: I was speechless when I read this article, so I realized a collage of the majority of old outfits and concepts for the male characters, sending three tweets to them for requesting to give importance also to the male roster, brining back at least a part of these old outfits or making new ones.

Team NINJA don't think we don't want male costumes; they KNOW. These are cold numbers that we're talking about and sales figures do not lie. Fact is, the people buying 'cool' costumes for the guys are far outweighed by people buying swimsuits and there's nothing we can do to fix that short of making our friends buy the stuff too. Sad but it is what it is.

"More sales" is not an adequate justification for their bullshittery, because it's not even that. They go out of their way to make dumb shit that no one wants (like a lamelord prison costume for Rig) instead of making legit shit that would have taken the exact same time/effort and would not have affected sales (and if it would it'd be for the better). And again, that whole Hayabusa face thing. Nothing to do with sales/time/effort. Just them being assholes.

If sales were everything, TN would just release a full-on porn game starring the DOA girls. It would sell. I have no doubts about it. But, the idea is: "Hey, maybe some people want something other than boobs." It doesn't take that much effort to appease those people as well. If Hayabusa got his 4 costumes from vanilla and 1 DLC costume, his classic one, I'd be content with him. That'snot much. It's not much at all. Sure I'd like more, but I recognize that their effort prioritizes where the money goes. Still, that's not excuse enough to absolutely fuck over every male character in favor of those sales. If that were the case, they would put 0 time in gameplay and balance and 100% focus into boobs. There are people who want other things, and they will pay for it. Don't ignore them.

I voted on the "both" option, mostly because I'd like to see less fetish wear for the girls. I'd still love to see Tina's DOA3 main, or Ayane's DOA3 main.

i would pick up Gen Fu in a heartbeat if he had some more interesting attire. Even better, he needs an alternate hairdo, always thought the mohawk looked terrible on him.

The same here. I wish they could put more emphasis on the character. I know I don't need that to use him (i like him a lot), but that would help a bit.
He could have some great costumes. New ones!

Yeah I second this the girls gets new costumes on a regular bases and guy characters gets Wack ass costumes or ones from previous games like not everybody use the females I use Jann lee all he got was a goofy ass dragon costume if you was gonna give him that you could of made it bad ass this is some fuck shit jann lee's "real" dlc costume was the china pack and Helena was included she's not even Chinese she's french!!!!!!! DOA is a good game but mostly a fan service and gives costumes to popular characters mind you Jann lee is one of the popular characters so is ryu and hayate and guess what they all get squat

Helena should have had this dress instead. That kind of her opera gi, imo.
And she does have a Chinese fighting style (Piguaquan) so that's okay.

I remember those leaked pictures of Gen Fu in his Hawaiian outfit with the loose hair, but in the end seem that were only photoshopped.

Personally I have always preferred this variation to her main red one.
