Tom Lee re-confirmed that there would be something "big" for E3 (during Final Round 16). No idea what it could be.
He also said they would slow down with the patches, because the game and the mechanics are pretty solid now. He said there was more DLCs in store though.

If there will be an updated version of Doa5, I don't think that will be for a next-gen console. The next Doa title for the next gen will be improved in the graphics and the engine according to the new consoles, like tradition of Team Ninja.

A similar effort to improve an already existing game would mean recreate that game from zero: a sort of waste of time and money for just an updated version of a title, at this point would have more sense to do directly a new game.

Can be just the announcement of a massive expansion for DOA5/DOA5 Razor's Edge and/or DOAX3

Yup I'm still on the fence between DOA5U and DOAX3...

For DOA5U:
- TN said they'd make WU version if fans demand it
- Shimbori said they'd like to bring back characters for "next game" (didn't say DOA6)
- "Can't keep Leon down for too long"

For DOAX3:
- Gravure videos
- Tons of bikini DLC
- More DOA5 DLC coming after E3 2013 announcement

Not for me. I'd rather they now start making DOA6 to finally make the more competitive, less random game everyone wants DOA to be, than to have them simply make DOA5U or more DLC for DOA5.

I'm kind of on the fence here as well. They did release DOA4 as a launch title, or pretty close to it, so maybe a next-gen version of DOA5 as a launch title might be the best bet. It would make sense to do it that way, but it all depends really. Not sure DOAX3 would really be worth it, at least in my eyes, as there's enough people at the moment clamoring for Leon, Tengu, and Ein, and other improvements/changes, would it really be worth all the fuss that would be made if they released that instead of another update for DOA?

I don't consider costume DLC or stage DLC something big to be honest. If TN is going to wait for the E3 to announce "something Big" then it better be DOA6 or DOA5U for next gen consoles or a set of new DLC characters, maybe some more VF characters and bringing back old DOA characters or better yet DOAxVF. What i certainly am not hoping for is for TN to announce DOAX3 that would really really annoy me very very much.

Was trying to think up a Powerblow for him for the last couple nights but all I can come up with is some variation of a punch to the face/gut followed up by either a Grenade Arm launcher or just a stare down launcher (just because).
