Poll: Should DOA feature a guest Tekken character(s)?

I've been thinking about what it would take for DOA to really get the attention it deserves and while DOA5U, F2P and the arcade version will help, I still feel like it's not enough. So I think it's time for TN to take a walk on the dark side (if they haven't already) to try and negotiate with Namco Bandai to feature a Tekken player in DOA like they did with VF. The character of course would need some major modifications in order to be able to fit into the rock-paper-scissors system but I think it would be worth it and bring in a much needed crowd.

Also if you said yes which Tekken character would you want featured in the game?

I honestly don't think that the Tekken cast would fit into DOA at all from a gameplay standpoint, but I am curious to see what a capoeira fighter would be like in DOA.

Back to the topic, I can't see a Tekken char entering the DOA universe. They're just too different. I can see a Soul Calibur character somehow making their way in.

Can't say I like the idea, the mechanics between the two games are just so different from one another that trying to seamlessly integrate someone from the Tekken universe into DOA I think would prove rather difficult.

I mean yeah if you even attempted to nerf a Tekken character in his/her current state w/o changing the mechanics they would be an S+++ tier. But I definitely think that it's possible (there are characters in Tekken who have holds). And I'm saying 1 guest (not 4 like VF) so I think they'd have enough time to rework the character.

Imagine how fast you'd beat someone in DOA though with a Tekken character who wasn't tweaked. lol

I'm gonna say no, but only because of general mechanical differences.

If they somehow decided to do a crossover deal (TKxDOA and DOAxTK), which would force the Tekken characters to play by our rules... then I'm game.

Then again, SFxTK became... well, SFxTK.

Yes, but DOA and VF play much closer than DOA and Tekken.

I think Tekken has the biggest and most dedicated group. A few days ago I was in a lobby and some guy came in just to say "Tekken is better." He fought once and left.
