Tbh i wouldn't mind a bit of that imo, I've always felt some girls in SK were thicker than usual plus curvy girls in Japan are pretty popular nowadays, it's called thicc I think or at least that's what people my age call it

....Or the artist just said "Fuck it, I'm done drawing these 1000+ lewd arts" and he didn't bother cleaning up back there before adding color XD As long as Ryona isn't the one suffering that I'm good ^.^

It's not quite that, it's that it looks so weird. I can't tell if that's supposed to be part of her back or her side and she doesn't look chubby enough in the art to have a roll like that. Then Asuka right next to her has a waist the same width as her torso

It's probably the artists, I noticed they tend to make the girl's bodies different in some arts, like one day one girl may look super busty and thin and then the next day she's thic, which kinda does make it even more obvious that there's different artists with different styles making the cards

I honestly think my favorite thing about Estival (the only game in the series I've played thus far) is the music. So, for the hell of it, I decided to compile a list of my favorite musical character themes from Estival. Feel free to disagree. First third I love all the tracks. Second third I consider to be decent. Final third I don't care for. Note that these don't correspond to how fond I am of the characters outside of their theme tracks.

One thing that left a really good impression on me when EV still had yet to come out was seeing gameplay of Renka, where it showed her transforming and the sequence was totally synced up to her theme. It actually worked really well, and got me hyped thinking that the others would be like that, too. And then I was severely disappointed when it turned out to be the case for nobody else except arguably Asuka. Was kind of a shame, to say the least.

I personally only like the theme music of Asuka, Homura, Daidoji and Renka. Everyone else, i don't really care for, at least for estival versus. I prefer some of the themes from deep crimson and burst.

The stage music is better than several of the girls themes tbh. Like Yomi and Miyabi probably have the worst themes in the game imo, they're so forgettable and sound more like ambient noise. Imu's theme I'm also pretty fond of

Hikage's actually syncs perfectly, as well. A few others, but they are the minority.

Yeah, information on the games atm is pretty tame but I do see alot of these new cards when I'm on Twitter ironically

Kinda hope they make the outfits and hairstyles in the cards a reality since I did once I think see Ryona with twin chignon buns in one of her cards I believe

Okay I just looked at the gematsu article and that's really cool that the series has done better than it was originally predicted to do! He said that it was originally said it would be great if it sold 30,000 units and it's managed to sell 1.6 million!

And same lol! I really want to see more of SK7 and SK:Burst:re. I think we should at TGS though and maybe more of PBS if they continue to release more dlc for it.

Also saying that I feel like they should since the game actually finally comes out here next month ( woohoo! ) so they will have the western audience added to the game so that would be a great opportunity to target more dlc towards?

I played SKC and there's actually a twin bun hairstyle in that that isn't in EV and lots of other hairstyles and clothes that weren't in EV, I wonder why? I'm looking forward to the options in PBS either way and in Burst.

I hate those XD All I want in SK7 is a Anna Williams style bob cut, a traditional hime cut and maybe a top knot style like Ibuki. And can they please replace those nasty flat shoes in the mandarin dresses with heels like DOA? I love look but the flats make them look like a martial artist instead of like a formal lady which I dislike

You might as well not even do anything if you pick Ryona, and she's not like Lili either where she's good at range and ground, everyone else can override her attacks which wasn't a problem in SV when she was so fast, but of course people get mad and complain when they don't realize that's what boss bitches do!

And Im happy to hear they don't move at least, a tight bun shouldn't move at all imo. But Ikaruga in PBS has the best swept up bun in the game so in using that with the nurse uniform in pink

You could argue that Ryona was intentionally designed to be rather weak as a meta device so that only masochists want to play her.
Katsuragi just sucks ass for no fucking reason at all.

Locking characters' third ninpos behind story progression and low health is kinda annoying in shinovi versus. I've only had one instance where my health dropped below 20% with 5 scrolls and that was Daidouji vs Rin in her shinobi heart missions.

I thought maybe SV would make me find Ryona & Ryobi less irritating (they were imo the two worst characters in EV's story) especially since I was enjoying the Hebijo route quite a bit but they're still ruining every scene they're in so far. :/

That's just Ryona's thing, plus that's not all her character has to offer. As much as she wants to be hurt, she's a monster and deadly if you either don't satisfy her needs or if you know anything about her sister Ryoki, I loved when in the opening of EV for the story when she saw Ryoki and something in her snapped and she turned violent when they tried to to do that ritual and looked as if she was gonna kill someone which she could very much do. She also means well, in her final missions when Ryobi is still reluctant to share how she feels with Ryoki, it's actually Ryona who tells her that they should should say farewell to their sister so she can rest in peace and she was willing to be the shit out of Ryobi to do so. But I understand not everyone can handle or stomach the trope of a character Ryona is, I'm actually glad she acts the way she does since it pushes most away and brings in those who can solely understand/handle her character trope and what lies beneath the surface

TBH all the SK girls are walking anime tropes, Ryobi is tsundere, Hikage is the emotionless girl, Ikaruga is your typical class rep, Katsuragi(I hate her...) is your typical Americanish yuri pervert, Yumi is your yamato nadeshiko, etc. And Asuka is your typical KASG.

If anything the most boring and annoying character imo is Yozakura, Homura to a degree, and Haruka and of course Katsuragi whom I can't stand.
