Of course it's not real, I thought I made it pretty clear... The question is did they do it in something like Maya or is it an actual DOAX2 mod. Unlike color swaps/nude mods, replacing models is very difficult to do I've heard.

Agreed. The last set gave 11 characters a new costume. Hopefully this one gives the other 13 characters a new costume.

How are you able to mod anything on a console game?

These aren't mods in the traditional sense, as they can't be reapplied to the disc and played on a console. What people are doing is pulling the raw data from the disc (often a 360 copy) and using that data in various PC programs to make changes and adjustments to the base models.
