It really is. I'd prefer to cut through the bullshit and just get down to a DOA5 MM and for how much ($100, $200, etc)? I'm just a random DOA5 newbie that would enjoy the experience and the possibility of losing my money in this wonderful underrated game. After all we've only ever play online :), offline should be fun but not without the money on the line and the fruit basket of course.

At least you guys have the opportunity to move your asses and actually play the fucking game, whether is 4-man majors or 128 like the pre-release tourney. Whether is on normal or smallest health. I don't have anyone to play this with, and my country's internet isn't powerful enough to guarantee me a solid performance against any good players like Erik, Matt and the like. No one can understand how I feel about not being able to live this whole DOA thing as I would like to. I learned to speak English to play games with people and I've never been able to do it in the way I see other people outside my country do it. It's unfair. So when I see stupid discussions like that one I get even more pissed off at everything surrounding me. You guys can't even imagine how fortunate you are when it comes to enjoying your main hobby.

No matter the settings. Do what dozens and dozens of people outside the US and Japan like me would like to do. Play the game, support it, and live what we won't be able to.

List an amount you're comfortable donating and we can get right down to it.

You're the one losing the money, so you get to decide how much you want it to hurt.

$200 minimum, more if by time NEC rolls around I haven't set aside any extra MM funds for anything else.

My goodness. You actually think you're going to win, don't you?

Alright, for now, 200 it is.

All I wanted were some matches in SCV to prove a point, but if you're so eager to make this donation how can I refuse?

I also have to say that why Small and Smallest are fun and interesting ways of learning how to play better I also have to say normal is better. Because why it give low tier characters a chance damage wise it doesn't change the fact that you still have to work for it more compared to top tier characters. Let me explain.

I've played some sets with Ryujin lately. And playing him you'll see how easy it is for me to make a mistake compared to him. Jann Lee is a very good character both offensively and defensively and he doesn't really have to take many, if any risk compared to an La Mariposa player. With our best tools we're still forced to take a risk which mean compared to a Jann Lee player you're most likely to make a mistake in comparison and even then you'll pay for it greatly.

Jann Lee have a good mix up game, including with his CB/PB mix up, and wall game and crazy juggle, and damage he does. Lisa player don't have all that glory and even if a Jann Lee player makes a mistake how much a Lisa player can capitalize on it doesn't make a difference. Jann Lee still got the ability to easily come right back. With that said. I think Normal life is best for now.

I had a much easier time with Bass and a much harder time with Christie in the lobby I made on smallest.
Christie doesn't benefit from an opponent playing defensively. Bass does.

A lot of the casuals don't realize the health in DoA5 was changed so they continue to use largest as they have been doing since DoA2 because casuals like matches to last forever. They don't care about making moves count and making punishment actual punishment, they just want the fight to last 10 years. The few randoms I got in my public rooms when I had it set to small/smallest didn't notice the health settings and once they did they started calling me a cheater lol.
