Hopefully it's a proper sequel if it does happen. I feel like V played extremely well out of the gate (saltiness about my character being cut set aside) and got worse over time. The spin-offs just don't count for me. A full sequel that brings Yunseong back has to happen.

I play all fighting games. Didn't play Tekken until Lars came out because I hated most of the roster. But I started playing Soul Edge back in the day and have played all of them since besides the weird single-player-only ones.

It's "Eternal Struggle" from SCII, which is the theme of both Cervantes and Maxi.

Oh I understand, I played Tekken since I was little(Used to "main" Xiaoyu) but didn't play seriously until Lili came about. Soul Calibur I got into from the 4th entry when I was eight and the rest is history XD

Oh, THAT theme! I remember now, that was the theme for that underground pirate ship hideout which sharks in the water.

I'm surprised they haven't posted anything regarding Sophitia yet outside of that character relations chart that's centered around Taki. I'm pretty sure she is Hoshino's favorite character and since he was put in charge had been promoted as the "main female" of the SC series. The lack of her seems kind of odd.

I don't think it is of any SC that I have played (SC2, SC4 and SC5). So it's either from SC1 or SC3? o . O

Edit: Apparently it is fro SC2 (Cervantes' theme). Wow, I have a bad memory. XD

Yeah Sophie is a goddess, I'm kinda surprised that they haven't done much for her yet. She's always been a staple series veteran.

Sophitia was my main in Edge and Calibur 1. However, when SC2 came to arcades, I settled with Cassandra and mained her until she was missing from SCV.

And then Pyrrha Omega happened.

Everything seems to be centered around Taki right now. Guess they're taking the most advantage of her popularity with fans.

Also It seems good for anyone that likes Sophitia and Taki because with all the stuff around them right now I'd be surprised if they aren't characters in sc6. Cassandra has been my favourite of the Alexandra girls for a while though so I hope she comes back to since the next SC needs her sass.

Also surprising is the fact that Taki is really the only SCV cut that's had Facebook promotion since this began, with Sophitia just being rendered as a relationship on a chart. They have yet to even mention other cuts such as Xianghua, Seong Mi-na, Cassandra, Setsuka, or Talim (the lattermost being notable, since she won the whole poll). I hope this doesn't carry any implications of their status in future games.

That doesn't make sense to me tho.... Isn't Talim the most popular girl? I'm honestly surprised that she hasn't been really shown even though she was number one in the popularity poll

Maybe they are trying to tease people because they know she's the most wanted? I'm sure she'll be in the next game though after the poll.

Yeah, maybe they just haven't gotten to them yet. But anyways, you can tell that Project Soul must've felt really bad about being forced to cut Taki when under Daishi's command. Since she's my favorite female fighter in the series, I'm happy about that. I'm sure they'll get to the other roster cuts eventually. I can't imagine PS being stupid enough to leave the veterans out in the cold after the backlash against SCV and the poll that clearly showed them being more popular than they're replacements.

You're right Jade and Nyte, maybe they aren't revealing her yet because that'd kind of spoil it since she is the most popular. Tajt and Taki has been in SC since the beginning while Talim was added in SC2, so maybe they're just focusing on staple veterans at the moment for hype sake.

Yea, I've been on 8WR for over two years before joining here. It's kinda shitty because it's been taken over by trolls with only a few decent members. Guess that's what happens when there's no game in four years and no updates for it.

That's sad if the forum as turned into that, Hopefully with a new game and the hype it will help the forum.
This thread here is good as well for a SC discussion.
I just hope this hype isn't for nothing and that they do announce something at TGS just so that we know it is happening. ( And I hope that the characters I like are in it )
