Well, as a guy from Socal who is not a dumb bitch spoiled by my daddy, I'm fairly confident in my own analysis on this subject.

The main thing for me though is that I grew up on many of these JP voices for well over a decade. So to me, the JP voices just ARE the characters.

I guess I could see how newcomers might get used to the English ones, though. To me, they're just off, however.

On voices...

I leave it on English because I love miles voice. I kinda like leons too.

But I also prefer everyone else in Japanese, but I'm not willing to give up my main for it.

Or at least a DLC outfit that isn't a direct copy-paste. MR and even P4 had at least 1 DLC outfit in their "starter packs" that was somewhat unique. That damn bath towel was their answer to more money-less effort for Nyo.
