I use taunts for fun
I never use them in a demeaning way, my most used taunts are:
Ein: "Koi!" "Osu!"
Hayabusa: "Goumen"(Apologies)
Hitomi: "Kou!"(Rawr)
Ayane: I troll with"Hmph!", "Anata no bake"(or something along those lines) and "Baka mitai"
MR: has too many to troll with xD "Bakabakbakabakabakaba BAKA!"

I usually taunt at the end of a round purely as something to do while waiting.
If I'm feeling respectful I'll use a neutral taunt like "Lauren, are you watching?" And "all right! Lets go!"
If I actually feel like taunting my opponent I'll use "You're going down!" And *gigglespank*
I feel like each character has a regular "idle animation" taunt that is fine to id whenever, but then they also have am actually offensive/aggravating taunt that'll piss people off.
Then there's characters that are purely troll animations (ayane) and ones that are purely innocent animations (hitomi).

the thing about Bayman's good luck taunt is its something clearly meant to do at the beginning of a match,but if you do you are giving your opponent the fist hit

Also, I have just discovered that "gigglespank" is a really fun word.
So even though, to me, it looks more like she's dusting off her hands than actually spanking herself, I shall call Milas taunt the "Gigglespank" for hilarity.
I tried Spankiggle but that sounds wrong somehow.

In Bass vs. Tina matches, it's totally acceptable to do the "TINAAAAAAA!!!" taunt.
And Zack Beam is just a given.

It's not about the character's viability. They'd be banned because they're exclusively available to only one player base. So even if the tournament was held on a Wii U, the character would still be banned because the majority of Xbox 360 and PS3 users who attend wouldn't have any experience fighting that character, giving anyone who picks that character a potential advantage.
A good example would be Kratos in MK9. He was exclusive to the PS3 version of the game and therefore had to be flat out banned from tournaments, even though most MK9 tournaments were held on PS3 because getting match up experience against Kratos was impossible for most Xbox 360 players.
I believe that Link, Spawn, and Heihachi were also banned in SCII for the same reason. I'd imagine that Darth Vader and Yoda were also banned in SCIV prior to them becoming available on both consoles.

Back 2 taunts, my fave is "UR JUST A HUMAN AFTER ALL". I love taunts so much I wish I could cancel them like I can in SC. ur just ur ur just a ur just a ur just a human after all

Normally when i do taunts i usually mean what the character is saying
Like when i randomly do a pl and it hits and I hit @Chapstick into the buddah for the 5000th time i usually use rachel and go "how unfortunate"
or when people are really mad and mashing super hard i go "Oh dear" with helena
Or when they run away i usually do the "come over here" taunt with christie
Normally when i play at like 4 am in the morning i do rachel's "Tired already" taunts

Side note, i finally got better at the game and now people are being mean to me and kicking me out of lobbies because i'm winning! i've never felt this before ;o im so proud of myself i havent been able to be confident in this game in well, ever So now that im starting to actually win a lot and get kicked from lobbies for winning. kinda makes me smile.

P.S. i don't wanna get kicked from lobbies but they accuse me of " rachel grab spam" not my fault if you're in the air and my fabulous rachel wants to slam you back down ;3
