Only if you toss her in the furnace where she belongs.

Ivy is fucking nasty. You're not helping your case with that comparison.

People would tend to think otherwise.

True and I'd love to see her. But I feel as more hilarity would ensue with the chick version of zack XD

Actually the way wherewith TN portrayed Rio in DoAP has nothing to do with the real personality of the character, like showned in her games series "Super Black Jack" or in the anime series dedicated to her "Rio Rainbow Gate!".
Even keeping her sunny attitude, she is definitely composed and "cool acting", not overactive and "theatrical" (indeed like appear to be Zack).

If Rio should return in a DoA game (main fighting series or the volleyball spinoff) I would prefer a different approach to her character in comparison with what they made in Paradise.

I know what you mean, but no, the model and textures are the exact same. A while ago, I made portraits of all characters and I took a photo of Hayate and Ein from the same pose in film mode with the same angle and zoom factor. I was examining both on my PC, because I too was interested, if there were any changes. But no, there aren't. They're just copy/paste. ;)

How it's possible? The face of Ein and Hayate seem to me definitely different, with the first appearing to be more young and with a bishoujo look. I have to take pics of both of them and to make an actual comparison me too.

Rio's personality was almost identical to Hitomi in DOAP. Bright, cheerful, a little bit childish (she jumps around while scolding you if you screw up if you chose her as your volleyball partner). In Rio: Rainbow Gate, she was more composed and mature.

If I were to choose between the two personalities, I'd prefer her Paradise personality. She seemed purposeless to have the composed personality in DOA's story.

What you mean with purposeless?

However the real Rio's personality is the one showned in the anime and games: of course you can have your preferences and to like better the one in paradise, I was only answering to Mestizo about like could be a mistake to think that Rio actual character is a female Zack.

I don't think she has a reason to have the Rainbow Gate personality unless she plays a major role to the main storyline. Dunno. With the exception of Zack, all the 4 main ninjas, Helena, Bayman, Rig, Lisa and Christie are all got serious personalities.

I think without the headband Hayate looks younger with his big forehead :p.

Video game characters are almost always sexualized regardless of age.

Majority of the Tekken guys that debuted from Tekken 1-2 are already in their 50s but they their bodies are still ripped like nothing sags from them. They have access to the fountain of youth.
