I agree, Helena lost some good tools as well. But, time constraints may be the reason why they didn't improve the other characters (like Ein and Leon).Call me a party pooper, but I'm kinda ticked that TN has been putting so much effort into mother-f'n Kasumi (who was honestly one of the few characters who didn't really need much tweaking) giving her a bunch of new junk but yet they refuse to do anything with Ein and Leon (who are brand-spanking new) beyond a DOA4 copy-paste.
Kasumi can never be perfect. But tbh, they really could have left her untouched. I mean, she's pretty decent and honestly doesn't need any buffs oder nerfs.
Don't get me wrong, I had no delusions that we would be getting Tengu now. After the E3 trailer, it was pretty much assumed that we weren't getting any of the old boss characters. The only way I can see them being put in now is via DLC, and as much as I don't want to give them ideas for it, a boss pack DLC would be the way it would happen. That said, they're so unlikely to put DLC characters in that it's barely worth beating a dead horse now.
That Kasumi combo was pretty sweet. I wonder if they've added anything else like that to anyone else?

They also claim that Rachel uses "Counter Fiend Fighting" and is the only one in the world who uses that style, but we all know that Spartan apparently did as well. Don't get me started on "Hayabusa-style Aikido" and "Muay Thai." The name they give the fighting styles mean little.TN even mentions in his bio that he no longer uses sambo and added a bunch of new moves to his existing ones so who knows what else he has by the time the game releases.

^pretty much sums up my feelings on this "news.""udtate"

The stuff you mentioned should be the tip of the iceberg, but I'm guessing it'll be the root.
mhmIf you were expecting a complete overhaul with dozens of new moves then you'll be disappointed.
I'm hungry in wanting to know what the hell TN has been doing to the character and his rare appearances in videos isn't helping sate this. Is he gonna be 98% similar to his DoA 4 incarnation or what? I'm being fed scraps which is bad for my healthy development into a better man. At this point I'm gonna starve until an in-depth change log or even some official frame properties are posted. Not gonna get hopes up on any new moves at this point or I'll break out in hives for being too optimistic.Either way Ein players are the ones who need to worry. dude played exactly the same since DOA2 and hasn't shown anything new so far in 5U
Um, actually quite a few were. Lei Fang and Jan Lee jumped up the tier list, for example. Christie also got a nice overhaul.none of the characters in the game were overhauled to that extent from their 4 counterparts accept maybe busa
Now that I can't argue with.so like many things related to this game you should keep your expectations at rockbottom like me to avoid further disappointment.
