I officially need to take a break from DOA. I raged so hard.
Finally got to A- by wrecking some Ss and Us in good, intense battles.
Immediately lost to a D- Momiji who just spammed one juggle and ran away, and there was nothing I could do about it because online priorities making Momijis jabs literally just pass through all of my attacks, so she had top priority no matter what. Back down to B+.
I don't actually care about ranks in the slightest, but its just the situation that pissed me off.
I'm gonna go play Remember Me and Lollipop Chainsaw

The days/weeks leading up to new updates = randomness in the threads due to the anticipation (me contributing 99.99% of it). Once the news is finally released everything goes back to normal again.

No, it's always Yaiba the main character of the 2d Side scroller (called Ninja Gaiden Z Mode).

I know that, I meant it should have been a proper 2D Ninja Gaiden with Classic Busa for a proper honour to the 25th anniversary.No, it's always Yaiba the main character of the 2d Side scroller (called Ninja Gaiden Z Mode).
IMO it was a really great idea
I'm not a fan of Yaiba and they said themselves it's not Ninja Gaiden so why even do this? it's a great tribute sure but it doesn't look right to me Yaiba just ruins the whole thing but I'm probably being biased lol and just irks me that there's an old skool tribute in a "non Ninja Gaiden" game.

Sorry I had misunderstood then: well yes, would have been nice but in the end I think that this is a spin off just because the main character is not Ryu. Requesting to play necessarily with him don't make much sense considered the nature of the game.

Yaiba itself and that it's a spin off doesn't bother me, the idea is great. It's the fact that it's not Ninja Gaiden in any sense, NG is more than playing as Ryu chopping limbs off of rival Ninja clan members and fiends it's the gameplay and mechanics itself.
That's my problem with Yaiba not so much the story/character(much) but that the whole thing isn't Ninja Gaiden in terms of gameplay that's why I have a problem with this.
DmC was a radical reboot completely changed Dante asthetically AND personality but I could deal with that and all the lame one liners because the gameplay was still even in the rawest form Devil May Cry from the style points to buying abilities/items via Statues and after/before missions etc.
Yaiba changes everything, from characters and lore to the gameplay itself and that's my problem with this.
And with that I'm done, we can get back to the topic at hand lol
