They need to bring back individual arcade endings in DOA6

They just lacked time, as always. Hopefully they won't have the same problem with the future installments now that they have all the new models (Leon and Ein included).

They don't have to add many new things in DOA6 now they have the basis (just newcomers, new stages, endings). Customisation or/and Character Creation Mode will probably be the BIG new feature. There are tons of DLC possibility for them with this (Ribbon Pack for Helena, Turban Pack for Leon, etc.)

NO CHARACTER CREATOR.

And customization should be limited to "mix and match existing outfits for that character only" kinda thing.

I dont want endless cosplays like with Soul Calibur...

Haha you should play SCV online, some of the creations people come up with are just off the charts. The amount of mummified, phallic-headed characters with demonic voices & puffed-up blimp-like breast inflation's using names like "swamp goblin" or "kitty-pinkness" borders on head-wrecking.

Although i waste loads of entertaining hours trying to create silly characters in SC, I agree with you on this. I don't reckon character creation would really suit the DOA franchise mainly due to DOA's choice of visual style. I think the best case scenario would be for TN to adopt for a character edit mode instead, possibly universal by gender with the options of toggling smaller accessories on or off. Nothing too over the template but something with a decent amount of tinkering involved that can give players some form of freedom to experiment with. Something with a similar formula used in VF would be ideal i reckon, or better still, something similar to the new Killer Instinct game on Xbox One which gives each character simplistic yet solid character-based items that match their personalities. For example, using your character Mila, we could have items such as a towel or some dangling red boxing gloves that go around her shoulders, or in-step guards to replace her ankle bandages, something subtle which suits the characters style but at the same time doesn't take away that characters identity either. Just an idea, but food for thought. :)

I give TN props for trying but making one long story just wasn't working (and it really isn't their fault they have too many characters to work with). Now if they could restructure it and make it like Sonic Heroes where there were 4 teams completing the game from 4 different perspectives (idk...could they divide up the cast into 4 story arcs or something? lol). That way jumping around the timeline could be better executed (and a whole lot less confusing than 5's story).

Example: As Hayate you encounter Lisa in a computer lab and demand her to tell you where Donovan is hiding but she claims she no longer works for him. Not believing her you defeat her and move on further.
Once you reach her story arc however you learn that Tina and a recently-turned-good Lisa broke into M.I.S.T. to remove a computer file that can possibly stop Donovan's plans (and of course the two of you split up at the wrong time so that Tina couldn't have your back). However once Hayate defeated you Christie was able to successfully thwart your efforts.

Also, random thought.

Yaknow how Lisa got a maternal gown in that last dlc pack?

I'm guessing that's a gift after too much macking on her new Ein clone.

Which I just realized sounds kinda like "iPhone". mackin on da iphone. Good lord I need some sleep.

Why no Character Creation ? Before DOA5, I understood the excuse "we want our character to keep their uniqueness", but this is no longer the case now with all these swaps.

And the excuse "people online" shouldn't even exist, as I don't play online. I don't care what other people do, people's fashion mistakes shouldn't prevent me from having fun in my favourite game.

But yeah, I agree that a Character Edit would be easier and I wouldn't mind having just this for DOA6, as one of the new big selling points.

Well the costumes are swaps but the characters still have their own personalities, character interactions, life stories, etc...(maybe you meant costume creation?).]

But if they did have a costume creation they really should limit it to offline. Customization really killed Tekken online for me when I have to fight some of the god-awful creations (maybe it's part of their strategy to distract the opponents?).

Yeah.

No, to be honest, my ideal in DOA6 would be :

- a character customisation (tons of LOGICAL and UNIQUE costumes, hair options and accessories for all the characters, males and females, that correspond their personalities : DLCs would be either entire legacy/new costumes or 'pieces packs' like wigs and accessories and stuff based on different themes)
- a color pallet (to avoid color swaps like Brad's or Helena's C1 : now you can color Lei Fang cheongsam in any color, like PINK!)

That's it. Character Creation would be too long to implant.

But character creation is supposed to be fun.. if stuff like that would make you irritated or whatever just y'know.. ignore it.

I don't care what the others do @Argentus , I don't like online (especially DOA5's online).
Like I said, people's bad taste shouldn't prevent me from having fun.

And a Character Creation mode would bring a new audience, it would be a good thing for TN.
