It wouldn't really make me like her, but having a DLC where she resembles the human Kasumi like in the final fight would be neat.

IMO this would be a great idea! I will try to ask this to Team Ninja in the - small - hope to get new DLC for Alpha 152.
This isn't Tekken though (just say no to the butt floss) and I wish they would invest more time in regular outfits instead of being so hell-bent on swimsuits (but clearly that is what the target audience wants so...whatchagonnado?).
But actually they invested more time on regular outfits than swimsuits: considering also the racer ones, the girls with most swimsuits (Lisa, Tina and Christie) have 5 of them against almost 25 total outfits. Add that all the swimsuits are taken from the DoAX2 models (with the exception of slighty modified ones or the Racer outfits) and in the end the normal outfits - in disc and like DLC - are really the kind of vestiary where TN spent more time.
If TN know well that the swimsuits are a kind of DLC that attire and has success among many players, I think that they aren't wrong to release them (even for male characters if there is an high request also for them). What is important is that they will not become the majority of the outfits - being DoA5 part of the fighing series and not of the volleyball spinoff - accompanied by a majority composed by "ordinary" ones (original or classic). Currently I think that TN showned a good general balance in the main aspects of the DLC outfits (classic/new outfits, female/male proportion, fanservice "percentage"), so I don't think that it's right to condamn them for putting too much importance on the "swimsuit fanservice" matter.
And about Kasumi, she needs absolutely to get back at least one of these 2 outfits
