Sorry if talk again of Tengu, but being one of the people that started again the discussion here with my links, I wanted say something me too:
Buy a used copy of Dead or Alive 4 or Dimensions, and you can try him out there. Problem solved.
I think that I will stop to answer to you, because at this time should be evident that you are on purpose trolling other people with provocative comments. I want just say that like other people have already said to you:
- This logic could be applied also in your case, with people asking to you to play DoA3 if you dislike Tengu and he will be added to DoA5U's cast;
- Think just for an istant that DoA6 will cut Eliot, maybe even replacing him with another character with the same moveset (btw thing not happened in Tengu's case): really would you accept carefree this decision by Team Ninja? And how would you feel about other people saying you "Return to DoA4/D/5/5U if you want play with Eliot"?
Teaming up against Jyakotu and gleefully bashing him won't still bring back Tengu.
I have nothing against Tengu, I do like his design and fighting style, but all the whining and complaining here is so annoying... You make me really hate Tengu.
I have nothing against Jyakotu or everyone say me that dislike Tengu. If you say me that don't want him back because you hate/dislike him, I have nothing to say about it, because this is a personal opinion dictated by your tastes. Currently I don't find objective reasons for not bringing back Tengu, but if you find something of this kind not strictly related to your tastes, this can become the subject of a smart discussion between us.
What annoy me, and I think other people, it's like Jyakotu seem to want give fake objective reasons for the impossibility/meaningless of the return of Tengu (how make sense to say that Leon and Ein are more unique than Tengu compared to Bayman and Hitomi? Or that Ayane can substitute him?), more the fact that he seem to feel fun continually saying to people that talk about the character: "It's useless, he will not return ever".
A person asked for a way to requesting him to TN, people answered to him, and everyone know that Jyakotu is against its return: so what is the reason for writing similar posts?
I don't know why Tengu players just don't pick up Ayane. She's the Miyama's Woman Tegnu!
Tengu is done. Ayane is the new Tengu. Thus, they should pick up Tengu.
Tengu is dead. Ryu defeated him. Deal with it. Team Ninja doesn't want him in the game. He doesn't fit in with the direction of the series now. Face it, his time has BEEN DONE!!!
Tyaren do you really think that they add something to the discussion and that they aren't done with the intent of being provocative? No one is saying to Jyakotu to change opinion about Tengu, but just like you said that "team up against him" will not bring results, the same should be applied for the opposite: to say to me, Forlon or everyone that wish for Tengu to not continue to ask for him, will not change our opinion or the one of TN about it (and overall it's a meaningless +1 in a such discussion without a proper content, I don't make random posts simply for saying "I like Tengu! Deal with it!").
~ Also, I can understand the logic behind not putting Tengu in the game. And I'm not saying this because I dislike the character, but I can assure you Alpha-152 will (most likely) no longer be in the DOA series now she's been eliminated. Much like how Raidou didn't continue his appearance into DOA2-5 once he was defeated in DOA1, same goes for Omega in DOA3.
If Tengu gets carried on through the DOA series, it would mean they would have to do it with EVERY boss character, otherwise it wouldn't be fair. The only characters that really die in the end anyway, are the boss characters. Leon isn't dead, and Ein is Hayate so he's not dead either- so their inclusion isn't really far-fetched.
Actually I would love the inclusion of all the boss characters in the DoA sequels me too (one of the reasons because I love DoA Dimensions), also if I would prefer a singularity in their moveset and not being almost clones. And like I said more times, it's just this the reason because Tengu should be included in the roster: between all the old bosses he is the one with a completely unique set, a character able to bring variety and uniqueness in the roster of a fighting game: and I think that this should be the first reason for including a character in a roster of a fighting game, not the plot of the game.
Add that he was the boss included in more games of the series compared to the others, and this make of Tengu a singular boss between Raidou and Genra. I exclude Alpha-152 because I consider the DoA4 boss unique just like Tengu, and for this same reason I really hope that it/she could return in the next games of the series like a character always present -more balanced if you think that it/she needs of it - just like the same should happen for Ein, Leon and Tengu too).
EDIT: I was forgetting guys, but thanks so much for the support showned here and on twitter. Indipendently by the final decision of Team Ninja, it's pretty nice to see so much love for one of the DoA characters generally more mistreated.
Like fan of Tengu I really appreciate it =)
I know how to do stuff like that (not near 75% though), but I cant' stand the thought of winning so quickly and easily. I mean...i like to draw my matches out with risky maneuvers, cause i'm there to play and have fun, not just get it over with as soon as possible with as little effort as possible.
I mean, with Leon yeah, sometimes it happens unintentionally, because he's a powerhouse, lol.
I'm not a great Ayane's player, but I assure you that risky maneuvers are pretty easily possible with the purple girl and that winning it's not so easy in the hands of an average player of her. Sure can be hard to use a proper defense against a
good Ayane's player (not me), but it's pretty easy to switch the fate of the match in favor of the opponent to the first distraction of Ayane (read: "put down the guard through an unsafe move").
